Chapter 27: Just Hold On

Charlie stood outside Rohan and Shanaya's shared hotel room and took deep breaths trying to calm herself down, her being such a die hard Rockstar Ro fan, knows all about Rohan's anger, she has read all the articles, has watched all the videos, to know that when Rohan's angry, you are screwed, and Charlie didn't even want to know how he will react when he realises the girl he loves might be in danger and Charlie is distracting him instead of helping her.

"You can do this Charlie, it's just Rohan, all you need to do is distract Rohan from Shanaya, that should be easy, right?" Charlie lifted her hand up to knock on the door but stopped, "But distracting someone from the person they love, is that sensible Charlie?".

Charlie quickly put her hand down and shook her head, "Of course it's not sensible, what the hell was Shanaya thinking asking me to do this, what the hell was I thinking saying yes to her, Charlie right now Rohan doesn't know your here, so the smart thing to do is turn around and go find Shanaya and make sure she is safe, that is the only way Rohan won't eat you alive".

After giving herself a good pep talk Charlie turned to leave, but froze when the door opened, and out came the guy Charlie was hoping to avoid.

"Charlie?" Rohan asked confused, seeing Charlie standing at his door, looking at him wide eyed.

"H-hey Rockstar, how you doin?" Charlie wanted to smack herself for being so awkward, there is no way in hell Rohan isn't already suspicious.

Rohan narrowed his eyes at Charlie, when he woke up from his nap, he expected Shanaya to be around, but she wasn't in the room, and then all of a sudden a nagging feeling started rising in Rohan's heart, he felt very uneasy, and it also didn't help that Shanaya wasn't answering her phone, and now Charlie is standing infront of him looking like a deer caught in the headlight, something wasn't right.

"What are you doing here Charlie?".

"I um, I, I wanted to check up on you" Charlie said, "Yeah, I wanted to check up on you and make sure your feeling okay".

"Why would you want to check up on me?" Rohan asked.

"Because your my favourite person?" Charlie asked awkwardly.

"Charlie" Rohan warned, "What is going on, why are you standing outside my room?".

"Okay" Charlie started, searching her brain for an excuse, "Truth is, uh Shanaya told me you weren't feeling well, and I decided to check up on you, but then I remembered Shanaya told me you were asleep so I started debating with myself whether or not to knock on the door, and before I could decide you opened the door yourself".

"Shanaya told you?" Rohan asked.

Charlie quickly nodded, "Where is she now?".

Charlie looked at Rohan, she opened and closed her mouth trying to think of an excuse to cover up her blunder, "Uh, she, she's not here?".

"No she's not, if she was, I wouldn't be asking you, would I?" Rohan asked, getting seriously annoyed by not knowing where Shanaya was, and it didn't help that the feeling in his heart kept increasing.

"Uh well, last time I saw her, she told me she was going back to you".

"So she's missing?" Rohan asked worried.

"Yeah" Charlie said, but quickly realising what she said and shook her head, "No, no, no, god no, she isn't missing, she's just gone to visit that Tanya girl".

Quickly realising what she said, Charlie slapped her hand over mouth.

Rohan looked at Charlie in shock, "She's where now?!".
