Chapter 21: I Promise Bad Boy

After the whole police station drama, Rohan and Shanaya entered their shared hotel room exhausted, since the police station none of them have said anything to each other, both of them wanted to start a conversation but had no idea what to say, but they both knew one thing that this crisis has definitely changed something between them. 

Shanaya looked at Rohan who was already looking back at her, "Uh do you mind if I quickly use the bathroom, or do you want to go first?".

Rohan shook his head, "No its fine you can go first, I need to find the first aid kit".

Shanaya nodded, but instead of going straight to the bathroom, she went towards the bedside table and opened the drawer and took out the first aid kit.

"Here", Shanaya said, handing Rohan the first aid kit.

"Thanks".

Shanaya didn't say anything, just gave Rohan a small smile and went to the bathroom.

After seeing the bathroom door shut, Rohan slowly took off his shirt, knowing he had cuts all around his arms and torso, taking his shirt off took way to much time then it should have, Rohan might not show it but the reality was that currently he was in a lot of pain, those guys really did a number on him.

Finally managing to take his shirt off, Rohan opened the first aid kit and took out some wipes.

After making sure his cuts were clean and all the blood was off, Rohan then proceeded to apply the antiseptic cream on his wounds, which proved to be much harder then cleaning his wounds, he was really struggling to put the cream on because of the pain.

Suddenly someone took the cream off of Rohan's hand, "Let me".

Rohan turned towards the voice to see Shanaya standing there, giving him a small smile, "I can do it myself Shanaya, I don't need your help".

"Your right, you don't need my help but that doesn't stop me from helping you, so now come and sit down".

Shanaya grabbed Rohan's hand and made him sit on the edge of the bed and then proceeded to sit next to him, she slowly applied the cream on Rohan's arm, making him hiss in pain.

Seeing Rohan in pain, bought tears in Shanaya's eyes, she blamed herself for Rohan's plight, she was the one who provoked Abhi at the party, she was the one who left Rohan alone at the police station, she was the one who Abhi was obsessed with, if she wasn't in Rohan's life, Rohan wouldn't be hurt, this was all her fault.

Hearing Shanaya sniffle, Rohan turned to look at her in confusion and that's when he realised she was crying, "Your crying".

Shanaya looked at Rohan with bloodshot eyes, she quickly wiped her tears and got up, "It's done".

Shanaya turned to leave but before she could leave, Rohan got up, held her wrist and made her face him.

"Shanaya why are you crying?".

Shanaya looked at Rohan with teary eyes, then suddenly hugged Rohan and started sobbing, "I'm sorry, this is all my fault, I'm sorry Rohan, I'm so sorry".

Rohan broke the hug and cupped Shanaya's face, "Shanaya what are you saying, what's your fault, why are you sorry?".

"All this is my fault Rohan, I was the one who provoked Abhi by telling him he can do whatever he wants but I'll never stop loving you, I was the one who left you alone at that stupid police station despite my heart saying something bad was going to happen, I am the one who Abhi wants, its all my fault Rohan, your in pain because of me and I can't do anything about it, I'm so sorry Rohan, I'm so sorry".
