The rest of my time at the Potters went by rather quickly.  Before we knew it, the time to head back to hogwarts was upon us. We were currently rushing through kings cross, trying to make the train on time. James had held everyone up trying to get his hair to lay flat and we ended up barely making it on time. We hastily said goodbye to the Potters and thanked them for letting us stay with them before getting on the train.

"Man I really thought we weren't going to make it" Sirius said as the train whistle blew just as we walked through the door into an empty compartment.

"me too!" James said as he sat down on the worn down cushions.

Remus gave him a look of annoyance as he sat down opposite him. "If we were going to miss the train it would have been your fault mate."

James just rolled his eyes in response and gave a huff, running his hands through his hair.

I considered sitting down but decided I would rather go find lily. I'd spent long enough with the boys to last at a lifetime.

"Hey guys I think I'm going to go find lily, I'll see you later." I said with a wave as I exited the compartment.

Remus gave me a small smile as I left. " See you later Belle"

As I shut the compartment door I heard James and Sirius making fun of Remus for something but I couldn't make it out. I made my way along the train on the lookout for Lily. I finally found her sitting with some of the other girls in our year and house.

"Hey Lily, hey guys!" I said with a smile as I pulled the door to the compartment open. I received a series of greetings as I sat down next to lily. For the rest of the ride we all talked about what we did over break as well as Marlene gossiping over the things she had heard about over break. A few hours later we had arrived at the castle and eagerly headed to our dorms.

Another few hours passed and I found myself sitting next to the fire in the common room finishing some last minute homework.I felt someone sit down next to me on the couch and looked up.

"Hey" Remus said giving me a small smile.

"Hi" I responded quietly, setting my work down on the table in front of me.

"What are you up to?" he said gesturing to what I'd just set on the table.

"Oh nothing much. I'm just finishing up the herbology homework for break. It's the only thing I havent finished yet" I replied.

He took in my words for a minute before replying, "Do you fancy a break?" He said wringing his hands nervously.

"Sure!" I responded happily. "I definitely could use a break from herbology. It's starting to wear me out. What did you have in mind?"

"Well..we havent worked on our project in a while. I was wondering if you would want to work on it for a little while. Also I did a bit of research over break I'd like to look into." He said before quickly adding, "unless you don't want to, I totally understand if you're tired."

" I'd love to" I replied grabbing my stuff." I also looked into some stuff over break. Just let me put this back and grab my stuff" I said heading towards the girls dormitory.

"I'll go grab my stuff too, meet back in 5 minutes?" He asked getting up as well.

I nodded and headed upstairs, dropping my herbology stuff on the bed and grabbing my cauldron, ingredients, and project notes. I raced back downstairs to find Remus with his stuff sitting on the couch.

"Ready?" He asked. I nodded as we excited the common room but realized I didn't know where we were going.

"Um Remus? Where are we going?" I asked as he led me down a hallway.

He gave me a mischievous smirk, grabbing my hand and continuing to pull me briskly up one of the staircases. We continued to walk until we came upon the seventh floor corridor.

"What are we doing here?" I asked as he walked us passed a huge tapestry that adorned one side of the wall.

I didn't get a response as he suddenly turned around and started walking back the way we came.

"Remus seriously what is going on. I thought we were looking for a place to work on our potion?" I asked, jogging to keep up with his long strides.

He turned and gave me a smile before turning around once again and walking briskly in the opposite direction. "We are". He said over his shoulder, continuing to walk, letting go of my hand as he continued on. I stood there for a second with a confused look on my face as he proceeded to turn around once again, stopping when he reached where I stood in front of the tapestry.

"What are yo-" I started before I dropped my jaw in surprise as a door started to mysteriously appear in front of my eyes. I turned to him with my eyes full of question.

He wore a proud smile at my dumfounded expression and walked over to the door, swiftly turning the door handle. He held it open and gestured for me to walk through the mysterious door. After a moment of standing there in shock I slowly made my way through the door. To my surprise, I found myself in a room that contained everything I could ever want for researching our project. A huge ingredients cabinet stood behind a brewing station. Rows of potions books sat on a shelf off to the side with a couch for reading rested in front of a fire not far away.

I turned to Remus with wide eyes as he entered, closing then door behind him with a proud smile on his face. "How did you find this place?" I asked walking back over to him.

"The boys and I actually found this last year. I was thinking over break about it and realized we could put it to use for our project." He said shrugging, a huge smile still on his face as he continued, "It doesn't always look like this. Apparently it changes to what you need at the time. We needed a place to practice so it gave us one."

"The only catch is you have to walk past it three times I'm guessing?" I said shaking my head at the recent memory of his pacing back and forth earlier.

"Yeah..I would've explained what I was doing but I wanted it to be a surprise" He said, a slight red tinge appearing on his cheeks.

I gave a small laugh as I replied. "Well I'm glad you showed me. This is going to be super helpful." I said before embracing him in a tight hug. "Thank you" I whispered softly as his arms hesitantly wrapped around me to return my hug.

He didn't take his eyes off me when I finally let go, just whispering a faint reply.

We stood in a weird silence for a moment before I broke it. "should we get started?" I asked quietly, breaking him from his thoughtful expression. And so we did.

"Yeah "he responded, running his hand through his hair. "lets do this. "
