Kales POV
I'm obsessed with tomika she's such a good friend but she always chooses summer over me I got a girl to threaten summer and it worked she just moved away i went to class they were sad
K: hey guys
Tomika almost cried but held back her tears
T: summer moved away
She could just barely fight her tears
K: omg why
T: (shrugs sadly)
Zack side hugs her I offered to be the new manager every one but tomika agreed huh the only one I wanted to want me doesn't
1 WEEK LATER
She hasn't said a word since summer moved, me and Freddy are dating now Lawrence is my new tutor mrfinn teaches me an instrument every morning and zack reads me my favorite books like they used to do with summer, tomika doesn't talk to anyone especially me she doesn't even look my way why won't she like me, we went to lunch tomika grabbed Zacks arm and went closer to him, she snuggled in his side and silently cried she does this every day he lifted her head and fed her and he wiped her tears
1 MONTH LATER
I have made NO progress whatsoever Zamika was at her locker him talking, her listening I came up she turned the other way and grabbed his arm she tried to take him away he stayed
Z: Mika-
She started tearing up one rolled down her cheek as she tried to blink them away he sighed and walked away with her
Zacks POV
We went to the garden she burst out silently crying
Z: Mika
She hugged me tight and cried into my chest not making a sound I hugged Her and rubbed her back
Z: say something
T: (shakes head)
I held her head up her eyes were red and puffy I wiped them away and kissed her cheek
Z: please
T: (shakes head)
Z: please tomika every one is worried
She looked down I set her on my lap she whispered in my ear barely making a sound
T: (quietly) sorry
I sighed she hugged my side we leaned our heads on each other till we heard the bell ring we got up and went to class no we're not dating we got in she avoided eye contact with everyone but me she sat next to me as usual
THE NEXT DAY
I was with Tomika we were at her locker
Z: please say something
She shook her head Kale walked by she immediately hugged me
Z: miki why have you been acting so weird
She stayed silent kale ran up to us
K: guys I forgot I'm volunteering at a nursing home wanna come
Z: sure we would love to
Tomika jumped up I caught her so her legs were wrapped around my waist she dug her head in my neck and burst out silently crying
Z: do you not wanna go?
She shook her head kale looked a little annoyed
Z: do you wanna go to my house and watch a movie
She nodded her head and lifted her head she mouthed yes

She smiled
K: you sure
She looked at her and nodded her head I set her on her feet and kale faked a smile she walked away a little mad
A FEW DAYS LATER
Kale and I were talking tomika came up and tried to drag me away immediately
K: so tomorrow you me and Mika all hang out
She froze and gripped my arm tight scared
Tomikas POV
Please say no I gripped his arm tight
Z: yeah
I felt tears coming I didn't want to look at him I ran away to my treehouse the one me and zack built as kids I burst out crying trying to contain my tears it didn't work I fell to the ground my knees felt weak my heart was racing I couldn't fight my tears I had a nervous breakdown and coughed up some blood I crawled to the corner and cried more leaning against the wall my face buried in my knees I held them tight
Zacks POV
She froze and gripped my arm tight scared
Z: yeah
Tears formed in her eyes she ran away immediately I left I went to the treehouse me and her made when we were kids knowing she went there she was crying her head buried In her knees sobbing uncontrollably on the ground I ran up to her and tried to wipe her tears they kept coming flowing like a river I cupped her cheeks she couldn't look at me without crying
Z: Mika what's wrong
T: everything
She speaks her lip quivered she was shaking she looked weak and scared she turned the other way and coughed up some blood I looked there was More in the middle of the treehouse
T: Zack I already lost summer, Lawrence and Freddy are gone mrfinn doesn't talk to me anymore all I had was you I can't lose you
Z: what are you taking about
T: I hate kale Zack, she replaced summer and every one let her (crying) every one sided with her I'm close to you cause I'm scared zack
She cried more and looked like she wanted to puke
T: (sobs) I don't want you to join them your all I have left I can't lose you I can't your the best thing in my life I lost every one else I'm scared
She could barely breath I lifted her head up and turned it to me she wouldn't stop crying I leaned in our lips centimeters apart
Z: listen to me you will never lose me I'm your best friend those guys siding with kale must be out of their small minds
T: (chuckles dryly)
Z: theres that beautiful smile
She smiled I kissed her softly
T: w-what was that for
Z: I'm sorry I wasn't thinking I-
She leaned in and kissed me like she kissed ME WHAT I kissed back trying not to be an idiot we made out softly

T: I'd love to
We smiled and kissed again

I texted kale that the hang out between the three of us was off and blocked her number

Kales POV
My new plan is to get close to zack then tomika, she will be my friend but he canceled and blocked my number ok plan number three complain to the band I did they were not happy Zamika came in I tried not to smirk
L: ok you guys, kale- what is that
They were holding hands
Z: were dating
F&L&M: awww
I sniffled pretending to cry tomika rolled her eyes
F: guys give kale a chance
She almost said something but nothing came out they started yelling at them telling them they had to be nice she hid in Zacks shoulder, the louder they got the more she dug her head in more, she was crying at the end they sighed and went up to her she backed away to the door almost tripping she ran out silently crying they ran after her UGH
Freddys POV
We saw her in the garden she looked sick and pulled out this brown bag she I think puked but I saw the red at the bottom forming and knew she had coughed up blood she cried more wiping her tears it didn't do much they kept coming we sent zack in we couldn't hear we saw them arguing she was on the bench he was sitting on the grass on his knees she was crying and refusing she kissed him I could tell to change his Mind he didn't budge we saw her sigh he called us over
Tomikas POV
He came up I was crying at the bench he sat down on the grass on his knees in front of me
Z: talk to them
T: are you insane no
Z: come on
We fought for another two minutes going back and forth
T: (kisses him)
I tried getting him to change his mind with a kiss

I sighed he called them over

I moved over to the next seat zack got up and sat me in his lap gripping my waist so I can't leave I sighed

I told them everything I broke down crying in the end they hugged me he said he'd break up with her and that they'll only talk to her for the band they said they also felt wrong replacing summer like that and that they missed her we went to class
K: so Mika-
T: don't call me that
K: didn't they talk to you
F: I'm sorry kale I'm breaking up with you

L: I can't be your tutor anymore you can still be the manager but-
She was raging mad
