Hubert's POV

My eyelids cracked open slightly, arms fealing the space beside me- hoping I really didn't send ___ back to her room last night.

'I don't wish to rush things. I'll see you tomorrow, my love.'

Why am I so stupid? I despise the feeling of waking up cold and alone, knowing I could have ___'s precious head resting on my chest like old times. Even when having an extra pillow for her, she still ended up with her head on my usually bare chest, and arms sprawled out over my torso- legs sometimes intertwined with my own.

However that didn't matter, my lips curled into a smile as I dressed myself, knowing that she really was mine and no Ferdinand could take her away from me. Infact, I wish to owe him an apology for being so cold these past few days, I belive he was only trying to help.

'What was happening to me?'

"My, you look happy." Dorothea commented from her place on the overly long table. It was only a few other members so far, but still rather early for Dorothea to be risen.

"Is it a crime or something?" I groaned, taking the scolding cup of coffee with me to the top of the table where my chair and mounted piles of papers lay.

"No, but I know a loved up Hubie when I see one." She said smugly, I hated how smug she was and how right she is on all things to do with ___. "So you're back? For real now?" She slid to the table beside mine, hand resting on her rounded chin and green eyes wide.

"I suppose. Not that it's any of your matter." I sniffed, turning over a page of documents the Professor gave me in order to achieve A+ in reason. "And do slide back to where you came from, I have work to catch up on."

"So that's why you're in earlier than usual." She hummed, retrieving back a few chairs to her pervious space. "I'm guessing taking time for ___ really puts you a day behind."

"It doesn't bother me." And that wasn't a lie, if it meant extra work the next day, I'd gladly spend the whole day with that wonderful being.

"You're adorable, Hubie." Dorothea giggled to herself, checking her own work in preperation for the Professor's pick and choose of the day.

"And that concludes today's lesson, remember- war council has been moved to wednesday!" Professor Byleth yelled over the chatter of his former students. I closed my book, sighing in relief that it was finally over and I could get back to my daily tasks.

"Guess who~" Two warm hands covered my eyes, their soft voice plyfully singing down my right ear and a lock of hair tickiling my neck as they leaned over my seated figure.

"Caspar." I replied sarcastilcally, pulling down ___'s hands to see her laughing at my joke.

"I hope not." She cracked, wrapping her arms around my chest and hugging me from behind. "Would you still love me if I was Caspar?" She hummed, kissing my cheek, causing my stomach to flip and face to heat with how flustered she made me.

"W-well..." I dazed, thinking on how to say 'no' without causing her to be upset. Although it was a rather obvious answer.

"You're so silly, you seemd so serious there- of course I know you wouldn't." She laughed, music to my ears.

"I do not mean to be rude, dear." I smiled, feeling the eyes on us two, "But is there something you needed? I have much to catch up on before war council." ___ slid off my back and onto the chair beside me so I could see all of her.

"I wanted to know if you have seen my necklace, I was wearing it last night but it seems to have gone." She pouted, clearly it meant something to her or she would have just gotten a new one.

"I can't say I have." I frowned, thinking back to last night. "You had it on in the Inn right? Perhaps go back and ask them if you left it."

"I think I'll have to at this point." She sighed, standing up from her chair. "I should leave now in order to get back in time for training with the real Caspar." She winked.

"Are you sure he's the real Caspar and not the real ___?" I pondered, clearly pulling her leg.

She said no more, slapping my shoulder playfully and tutting at me. My heart pounded as the urge to ask her for a kiss goodbye was working it's way to my mouth, half of the people had left by now but some still lingered.

"___." I grasped her hand before she could get too far, pulling her back towards me and moving up off my chair slightly to reach her lips.

"H-hah." She breathed, blushing at my sudden burst of affection infront of our comrades. "See you later Doomsday." She whispered, scurrying out of the room before anyone could tease her.

Your POV

The necklace I lost was given back to me when I returned to the Inn. Thank goodness, I had no idea how it fell of my neck! Considering it was the only thing I had left of my mother, I should take much more care of it from now on.

Traveling back to the monastery was boring, it was so early still- around 2pm and I had training in 40 minutes.

"Thank you." I waved to the rider and headed in, going straight for the training grounds, ignoring the increased amount of people in the monastery.

"You Majesty!" A familliar voice called out behind me, it sounded a lot like- "Henry?" I muttered, turning around.

"Henry!" I gasped, hugging the tall man tightly in our reunion.

"I can't believe you left like that, me and the others were thinking the worst!" He scolded me for my reckless actions.

"Forgive me, but the Professor was announced alive- I just had to go." I chirped releasing the man.

"As long as you're unharmed, all is well. Fodlan isn't very safe, I'm glad I can keep watch now." He sighed, walking along side me. "Where are we headed?"

"To train with Caspar."

"Okay, I'll see you after, no way I'm training after that ride." He snorted.

"So much for looking out for me!" I yelled at the fawn haired man toddled off the oposite way.
