Slight Blood warning-Skip to the second * * * to miss it :)Friday, the last Friday of that moon to be factual. The 28th would be one to remember in your books, oh be patient- you will find out soon enough.
You were perched on your wooden desk, already suited and booted in your black and burgundy armour, however there was something..missing.
You knew you wanted to wear it, the shining silver was just looking at you, waiting for you to clasp it on your wrist. Perhaps if you wore it under your under-armour?
Trying just that, you were relieved to see that the bracelet was concealed nicely, not what you really wanted- but at least you could wear it without giving anything off to Hubert.
That lovable snake was the opposite of a 'good suitor' and that's what made the gift so much more special to you, it was the closest thing you had to the man without going back on your word; to keep your distance.

Considering that this was a military school, this Friday was going to be battle experience for half of the class. The other half would partake tomorrow, that way it evened out the experience gained.
Today was unfortunately your day, and you had to be ready by ten in the morning so you could reach the ancient plains for eleven.
"___!" Shamir was taking this quest so Byleth could teach the other class while the rest fought. As your surname was 'Wallskien' you came last on the call out.
"Present." The same boring response each other tired teenager mumbled, Lindhardt didn't even respond he was that tired. Not that anyone was bothered nor surprised, he could sleep through a burning building- never mind Shamir's yelling.
You scanned the rather sweaty smelling Knights hall, assessing who was actually going to be on the battle field with you:
Petra, Linhardt, Ferdinand and you.
The rest got more in total-for the lack of healer."Right, we will take off now, each take your damn horse and leave through the back way." Shamir took her own black stallion, letting it trot smoothly down the back passage way meant for horses, if only that old man knew about it before making you and Henry walk up them stairs.
* * *
The battle was brutal, so far you thankfully had not a scratch, but Petra and Ferdinand had cuts and bruises all over their arms, even Ferdinand's arm plating had been shattered off like glass by multiple arrows.
"Ferdinand!" You you yelled, adrenaline swarming through your veins as the teen was being vastly approached by an enemy soldier, their steel sword taking aim to plunge right into the red heads back. "Ferdinand look out!"
It was no use, you could foresee the future and his untimely demise was drawing near, glancing at the enemy you were facing, you legged it. As fast as you could-feet pounding into the heavy soil as the rain slapped against your skin like needles; your eyes being forced to squint.
"Leave him!" You roared, plunging an identical steel sword into the soldiers side and praying you didn't miss, the groan of agony made you wince; the man grasped his bleeding core as you yanked the dirtied blade out from his plugged flesh.
"___!" Ferdinand gasped, reaching for your free arm before the soldier could counter your surprise attack.
The force he used caused you both to fall, tripping over a dead man's lance and tumbling down a minor flight of stone stairs, landing in a heap- swarmed by a pool of brown water.
"Agh!" Was a noise you both made out of pain and surprise , Ferdinand took quick action before falling-trying to hold your head to his chest so it didn't plummet face first into the ground. A successful and noble attempt at that.
