Epilogue- 5 years later

So much has happened in the last 5 years. The Twins have grown up so fast it makes me want to cry. Everyone said they would grow fast but I swear it was just yesterday that Doc told me that there were 2 instead of 1. Watching them play together is a blessing. They love each other and are each other's best friends. Willow is the best mother and mate. She is so patient and kind with them even being 3 months pregnant. She is never too tired to do things with them or to teach them. I couldn't have asked or been blessed any more than I already was!

They have already started training some. Nothing strenuous but its a start to get them into the motions. We find that Talia is fast and cunning, while Xander is strong and is wise like Trixie said they would be. Talia is such a sweetheart and is a little mother hen to her brother, who by the way quickly outgrew her. He stands a few inches taller than her now. He watches out for his sister and when she gets picked on bt one of the kids in the pack he is quick to respond.

We are sitting outside in the garden today having a picnic lunch. The kids wanted peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, cheese puffs, and cake. So that is exactly what we are eating. I laugh at Willow who somehow got peanut butter on her nose and the kids join in.

"What is so funny you three," She says with a smile.

"Mommy you have..." Talia can't get it out for laughing

"Xander, what is it?" She asks and he points at her. I lean over laughing and swipe it from her nose and we all bust out laughing again as her cheeks grow red. We all calm down and the kids go play tag running carefully around the flowers.

"Hey, my little loves would you like to do a craft with mommy?"

They stop what they are doing and come running over "Yes mommy", "What are we going to do?"! They scream at the same time excited. I help her up and she grabs another basket from inside the door. "Do you want to help me make fairy houses?"

They both squeal with excitement and I watch as my wife sits down and takes the supplies out of the basket. I lean back in the shade on one arm watching. She is truly amazing. "Have I ever told you the story of the Fairy Houses?"

The Twins look at her "Yes mommy. But please tell it again"

She smiles and begins to tell it. As I watch I look up at the sky and thank the moon goddess for this. My family, My pack, My friends. I couldn't wait to see who the Twins grew up to be. She knew what I needed in a mate and she sent it to me. She said in our wedding vows that I was her salvation. Little did she know she was mine and I would spend the rest of my life proving it to her.
