Peter POV:
Ben was arguing again with May, though Peter couldn't hear much of what they were saying though his bedroom wall. Then there was a loud crash and someone inhaled sharply. Peter heard Aunt May gasp and start to cry. He opened his door.
"Aunt May? Uncle Ben?" He asked. But then he saw his uncle and his voice died down in his throat. Ben was laying on the ground unmoving, a red mark was starting to stain the front of his shirt. Something shiny was sticking out of his chest.
Glass, six year old Peter realized. Glass was stuck in Uncle Ben's chest, so that meant that red stuff was... He shed his eyes from the view just as Aunt May seemed to see him standing there. She rushed over to him and picked him up.
"It's ok, Ben just had an accident." She reassured him, then she called 9-1-1.
A few days later, Peter was with May to check on Ben in the hospital. But when they opened the doors to room 163, a man dressed in dark clothes was standing over Peter's uncle, his back to them. Then the man turned around and Peter buried his face in May's dress.
"Pirate!" The little boy shrieked, not wanting to look at the creepy man with the eye patch. May rubbed Peter's head to comfort him, giving the strange man a cold stare.
"What are you doing here?" She hissed. The man just smirked.
"Nothing, and if anyone asks, I was never here." He said, then he walked out of the room, ruffling Peter's hair as he did so. Though Peter didn't dare look up. Once May had assured him that the creepy man was gone, Peter ran to uncle Ben's side.
"BEN!" He said, his eyes getting a little teary. Peter had missed his uncle desperately, even if it had only been a few days.
"Hey Pete!" Bed said as his usual cheery self, acting he wasn't in a hospital bed recovering from injury that Peter didn't know May had caused.
About 10 minutes later, Peter was in the hall with some money May had given him. As he fed it into the vending machine, he heard shouting from room 153. He tried to ignore it as he reached into the machine for his snack, but did they have to be so loud?

"Peter," Someone said. "Peter!" The memory was starting to fade to white. Someone was shouting my name. "PETER!" The voice said again and my eyes flew open. Frankly was standing over me, shaking my shoulders.
"What?" I exclaimed. "What!"
"She's coming! She knows what you did! You have to get out of here!" Frankly said. Oh no... How did she find out? I didn't have much time. Reaching under my bed, I grabbed my backpack. I ran to the only window in the room, but turned back to Franky at the last second.
"What about you?" I asked.
"Nah, I'll be ok. It you to worry about, not me." He assured me, but that didn't stop me from worrying. Franky was younger than me, and I couldn't help but think if something were to happen to him it would be my fault.
"Well... ok," I said hesitantly, and jumped out the open window. I landed on my feet, but the forces of the fall made my legs crumple underneath me. I knew that I had most likely fractured something from the 3 story fall, but I healed quickly so I'd walk it.
I got to my feet but pain shot up my leg and I fell down. I got up again, and using a combination of limping and walking, I got to the sidewalk. Unzipping my backpack, I checked to see if its contents were still there. Phew, they were. I slung the bag over my shoulder and started walking down the street away from the orphanage.

Fanfiction-edit- I started writing this back in 2020, and so the beginning is a bit... um, meh. But it gets better I promise!!!!! Peter Parker has lost a lot. First his parents, then his aunt and his uncle. So he didn't expect being almost flattened to death...
