Peter POV:
Thor had a big grin on his face, and Mr. Stark face palmed.
"Not again." He mumbled. Thor walked over to all of us, and either didn't see me or didn't care.
"Guess what!" He said. Nat looked up at him disappointed.
"What?" She said, no enthusiasm at all.
"I got more of the mighty pop tarts! And I found bacon flavored ones! Why did you not tell me that such a delicious thing existed?!" Thor exclaimed, and I tried to hold back a laugh. He was a pop tart addict? Then Thor turned to look at me, glancing at Mr. Stark, and then back at me.
"Stark? You didn't tell me you had a son!" The god of thunder beamed. "How long have I been gone?!" Me and Mr. Stark both went a little red.
"This is Peter Parker," Mr. Stark said. "And he's not my son. He's here because of an explosion that happened at S.H.I.E.L.D while we were there. His leg got impaled."
"That's one strong kid," I heard Clint say. You have no idea, I wanted to say back. But I couldn't because that would blow my identity. I pulled out my phone again to check the time. 5:12. I had to go or else I'd be late.
"Um, Mr. Stark?" I looked up at him.
"Yeah Kid?" He replied.
"I have to go." I said. He seemed to think for a moment.
"Are you sure? Your legs gonna need time to heal. You know what? Why don't you spend the night here. I'll call the orphanage and tell them and let them know." He said, and I went a little pale but I don't think anyone noticed.
"No no no, that's not necessary Mr. Stark. I don't want to be a burden. I can just go back-" I stopped myself from saying 'home'. That place was no home. "I don't need to stay here. Really, it's fine." I said, hoping that they wouldn't ask questions and let me go.
"If you're sure-" Mr. Stark started to say but Peidro interrupted.
"No. The cinnamon roll will be staying the night. I insist." He said.
"And I second the act." Clint stated matter of factly.
"Well then I guess it's decided. F.R.I.D.A.Y? Show Peter to one of our spare rooms." Mr. Stark said.
"Certainly Sir." F.R.I.D.A.Y replied. Then my chair started to move away from the Avengers.
I went down one hallway and to the left. I stopped at the beginning of a second hallway and F.R.I.D.A.Y opened a door. I was moved inside, and shocked at how much bigger the room was compared to the small closet like space I slept in back at the orphanage. Everything looked so... expensive.
There was a king size bed against one wall, and a TV across from it. Also what must have been a walk in closet, a small balcony, and its own bathroom. Then the door closed behind me and I was left in the middle of the big room.
I decided to try to stand all of a sudden. I had a feeling it wouldn't hurt as much as I thought it would, and usually I listened to that feeling. So carefully, I rose from the chair, putting all my weight in my one good leg.

Fanfiction-edit- I started writing this back in 2020, and so the beginning is a bit... um, meh. But it gets better I promise!!!!! Peter Parker has lost a lot. First his parents, then his aunt and his uncle. So he didn't expect being almost flattened to death...
