"Y'all ready to go?" Jimmy asked.
We all nodded from where we were standing next to our cars. Jimmy went off explaining the next challenge to the camera. We were doing a race, and our coaches were in charge of filming each of us as we raced to complete all of the tasks.
We were all driving our own cars, and all we knew was that to start this race we have to drive to the park. We don't know how many tasks there are or where else we're going to need to go or what these tasks entail.
On Jimmy's signal, we all got in our cars and sped off from the warehouse. It's on, and I don't plan to lose.
"Alright beautiful, I'm going to read you the first task while you drive," Karl smiled as he took out the paper with my first task on it from his pocket all while he filmed me driving.
"I'm willing to bet it's something ridiculous," I smiled, "I'm sure most of them are."
"You realize what channel you're on, right?" Karl laughed, "okay it says go to the park and find a tree with Chandler's face on it. Climb it to collect your flag."
"A tree with Chandler's face on it?" I laughed, "is there more than one with Chandler's face on it?"
"I honestly don't know, this isn't a task I helped set up," Karl admit.
I quickly got to the park and I didn't even hesitate before I got out and started jogging through the park. Karl kept up with me, filming as I ran. I was looking for a tree with Chandler's face and honestly I didn't really know what that meant. Did they tape a picture of Chandler to a tree? Did they paint a bad portrait of him on a tree? Was there more than one?
All of my questions were answered when I caught sight of a tree with a printed out picture of Chandler was secured to the trunk of the tree. I didn't wait for Karl to catch up to me, but I sprinted to the tree and immediately jumped up to the lowest branch to pull myself up. I climbed up as far as I needed to and reached for our team flag, seeing that we were the only ones who had it so far.
"I got it!" I cheered as I quickly climbed down and met Karl back on the ground.
"Good job beautiful, here's the second task," Karl smiled.
"Here's a script for the Bee Movie. Find how many times the word bee is said," I read out loud before Karl handed me a small stack of paper, "do I have to physically count it if I already know how many times it's said in the script?"
"You know off the top of your head how many times the word bee is said?" Karl laughed, "if you can tell me the correct number then I don't think you have to physically go through the script."
"Bee is in this script 172 times. And they say Honey 56 times," I laughed.
"That's right, how do you know that?" Karl asked.
"I have no idea," I admit.
"Well let's go then!" Karl laughed, "I'll read you the next task in the car."
We jogged back to the car and passed Ty and Chris on their way into the park. I got into the drivers seat and was about to leave the parking lot, before Karl yelled at me to put on my seatbelt.
"Okay, task three," Karl smiled after I was buckled in, "at the track there's a Tesla waiting for you, make a lap and avoid the obstacles."
I drove to the track, wondering where everyone else was and where I stood compared to them. If I know Jimmy at all, these are going to be the plastic battery-operated cars that you buy for children, not actual Teslas.
When we got to the track, I got out of my car and jogged in to find exactly what I expected to find. I got in one of the battery operated Teslas and started driving around the track, careful to avoid all the obstacles. It was pretty simple, until they started throwing water balloons at me, but I finished my lap and ditched the car to get my next task from Karl.
