"Okay Ava," Ashton smiled at me, "here are the keys. The seller said you can move in two weeks from today. They had everything deep cleaned and the inspection came back perfect. You and pretty boy can visit the house and walk around and make your cute little plans for what you're going to do inside as much as you want, they just request that you don't move any of your stuff in for another two weeks."

"I can't believe they accepted my offer," I shook my head.

"Well you and I did a great job of crafting a perfect low offer," Ashton boasted, "but I'm happy for you, even if I am sad to see you go."

"Well, I've got two weeks before I move boss man," I smirked.

"I know, but you are an incredible employee and even better friend and person," Ashton smiled, "plus I haven't mentioned it to the boys yet and they'll be salty."

"I'll be in Raleigh, not Hong Kong. I'm only a two hour drive away and I'm still going to be working for you," I pointed out, "just not from inside the office."

"It'll still be sad not to see you at your desk when I get here every morning," Ashton whined, "two weeks from today, we're celebrating you and this awesome new thing you're doing and you don't get to argue."

"Okay fine, I guess I have to agree to that then, don't I?" I laughed.

"You sure do."

I laughed as I grabbed my new house keys from Ashton and collected my official paperwork from the closing. Ashton had done so much for me since I met him. I mean, he's not a real estate agent, but he looked over every single thing I had about this house before I put in an offer and he advised me every step of the way. I wouldn't be much of anything without him and Jimmy. They're my rocks.

"Heading right to Raleigh then? To celebrate with pretty boy?" Ashton asked as he grabbed his jacket and belongings to leave for the weekend.

"Probably," I laughed, "maybe going to get some boxes before I go so I can slowly start packing up my apartment during the week."

"Let me know if you need any help," Ashton offered.

"Thank you Ash, I appreciate it. I appreciate everything," I smiled.

"Don't get all sappy with me now," Ashton laughed, "now go have fun for the weekend and I'll see you on Monday."

"Yes sir, the first video of the series I was in for Jimmy's channel comes out this weekend if you want to watch it," I offered as I packed up my stuff at my desk.

"I'll keep that in mind. You going to tell me how it ends?" Ashton asked.

"Nope," I laughed, "that would ruin the videos!"

"Such dedication to a hobby that isn't even yours," Ashton laughed.

"It's his career, not his hobby," I corrected.

With all of my belongings in my hands, Ashton and I left the office. He smiled at me as we both got into our cars to leave. Ashton may be my boss, but he's a good friend to have. Our relationship has always been a little weird. I mean he's my boss and within the last year I've gotten a lot more comfortable around him and his friends, comfortable enough that they were flirting with me and I wasn't feeling harassed. And now I consider all of them my friends. It's weird to think of a time when I'll be away from them, and not in the office every day.

When I got back to my apartment, I placed the empty moving boxes that I had picked up in my bedroom for later, quickly packing up a bag for this weekend. I changed into some black jeans and a red crop top, going from my professional persona of heels and dresses to me with jeans and dark clothing and my vans. I said goodbye to my apartment once again and was off to Raleigh. Even better, I was on my way to see Karl.
