Luke's POV:
I end up putting my arm around Mary since she seems to be scared.
"You know this isn't so scary." I say
She doesn't reply. I look down at her and realize she's asleep. The light from the television flashes on her calm face. She looks so peaceful, I suddenly realize that I do like her. She's so beautiful, her light brown hair is covering her face. I brush it back with my hand. There's a little crease in between her perfect eyebrows, almost as if she's concentrating on dreaming. I get the feeling again, so I decide to go for it. What can happen? She's asleep.
"I love you so much." I say and gently kiss her on her forehead.
I decide to just sit there, since I can't move or I'll wake her up.
The only sound is her steady breaths. I start to get sleepy myself, so I gently move my arm and scoot her over. I decide to just leave my clothes from today on instead of changing and get a blanket. I lay down next to her and just look at her, sleep begins to slowly take over my body and I close my eyes.
Mary's POV:
   I wake up in a state of panic and look over to see Luke asleep next to me. I quietly get up and check my phone. It says it's 2 am, I fell asleep at a guys house! My mom's not going to be very happy about this, and neither will his.
"Hey, you're awake." I hear a raspy voice say
I turn around and see Luke standing up stretching. I suddenly remember what happened right before I fell asleep. He said 'I love you so much.' and kissed me.
   "Yeah. Why didn't you wake me up?" I ask
   "I don't know, you just looked so peaceful so I just decided not to wake you up." he says
   "Well, it's 2 am and I don't want to get caught sneaking in." I say
He chews on his lip ring focuses on me.
"Come on, I'll get you home without getting you in trouble." he says
   We sneak down the steps and silently get into his car. He drives to my house.
"Do you have a key?" he asks
   "Yeah." I say
"Ok that makes things a lot easier. Before you walk through the door, take your shoes off so no one hears you."
   "Ok." I say
He pulls up in front of my house.
   "Thanks." I say
"Mary, wait." he says
I look over at him "What?" I ask
"Um I just, I wanted to say I had a good time with you. We practice tomorrow, so I'll see you then."
"Okay."
   I get out and close the door. I wave to him before walking to my house. When I get to the front door, I turn around and see that he hasn't left yet. I take off my shoes and open the door. Before shutting it, I look back again and he still hasn't left.
   I sit my shoes down at the door and begin to walk upstairs.
   "Where were you?" I hear Ashton say
   I turn around and see him sitting in the couch.
"I was at Luke's house and-"
   "You were at Luke's house? This late?" He whisper-yells
"No, it wasn't like that. We were watching a movie and it was pretty long and just ended about fifteen minutes ago." I know, I lied. But who tells their brother they fell asleep at a guy's house?
   "Okay. Mom went to bed a few hours ago, so if she asks either one of us, you came home at curfew, okay?"
"Ok, goodnight Ashton."
"Goodnight Mary."
I walk upstairs and go straight to bed. I lay in bed, staring at the ceiling in the dark. Luke kissing me on the forehead comes back to me, and I just smile.
   "He said he loves me." I whisper to myself before falling asleep.
