*2 months later*
Luke's POV:
Things have been kind of slow lately. We're struggling with music, we've been making videos but it takes a while. Michael always fucks around and is never focused. On top of that, it hit me last night while lying in bed.
If we ever do make it big, I'll have to leave Mary. She's seemed to move on from me, so I don't think she would mind.
'Luke?' I look at my phone and see its Michael
'Yeah?'
'We need to talk'
'k, meet me at the park'
I walk to the park and sit on a bench. A few minutes later, Michael comes and sits next to me.
After a few minutes, he starts to talk.
"I need to tell you something, and I don't want you to get mad."
I give him a questioning look.
"I'm just going to say it... I like someone."
"Really, who? Do I know her?"
He shakes his head a little,"You...you know her well."
I immediately know who has talking about. I stand up and shove him of off the bench.
"I swear to God, Clifford, you lay one hand on her and you're dead. She's mine, okay? Mine."
I walk away from the park as fast as I can. I don't know what to do. Should I write down my feelings? Tell her everything?
I thought wed be fine, I thought my feelings were just temperary. I thought this was just a passing crush.
Mary's POV:
Ever since Michael came over, I just can't get him out of my head. I love Luke, but there might be...something there with Michael.
I'm sitting on my bed staring at the wall, I always do this while thinking. I hear my phone ring.
"Hello?"
"Mary!" It's Luke, I smile a little "Be ready in five, I'm taking you out because you're beautiful and deserve it."
I slip on my shoes and take a small glance at the mirror. The same plain, boring me. I seriously don't know what anyone sees in me.
My house has been pretty quiet lately. Moms working even more lately and Ashton's either at Luke's or out running. So I slip out with ease.
I see Luke's car pull up and get in.
"Hello Mr. Hemmings." I say while buckling up, then I plant a kiss on his dimple.
"Hello Mrs. Irwin." he says while grabbing my hand
We ride in silence until I finally ask where we're going.
"It's a place Jack told me about, he took his girlfriend there a lot." He says while smirking a little
I look in the back seat, then back to him. He's watching me out of the corner of his eye, so I raise my eyebrows.
"I'm not that easy, Hemmings."
"Oh believe me, Princess, you are."
I feel all of the heat in my body rush to my cheeks and look out the window. He just called me "princess" and I think my heart just spontaneously combusted.
By the time we stop, the sun is close to setting. He rolls the windows down and turns the radio on. Of course, Backseat Serenade has play right now.
"You know what this song is really about, don't you?" He asks
I roll my eyes and he lets out a little laugh.
"Its not necessarily about that, its just people take it that way. You've been hanging around Michael too long."
Me mentioning Michael seems to have caused Luke to go silent.
"Yeah,about him..."
Oh no, he knows. I'm sure Michael was like 'Oh yeah the other night I got a few steps closer to fucking your girlfriend'
I don't know what to do, so I just grab him and pull him into me. My mouth collides with his and then his hands travel to my waist. Mine wander to his back.
Luke's POV:
I've been waiting for this moment for a long time. I barely got to see her body last time, but it was enough to make me want to see more.
She was just perfect.
Now she's kissing me, and I see my chance, but I pull away.
"Is this ok? Are you ok?"
"I'm sorry," she says "I didn't mean to do it like that."
Mary's POV:
It's like electricity. I feel it surge through me and I know...I know what needs to happen.
Luke's POV:
She smirks at me and it catches me off guard. Someone that innocent shouldn't look like that. She pushes me back and climbs over on my side, sitting on my lap facing me.
I can't, she's too beautiful right now. I take a piece of her hair and twirl it. The sun is finally setting behind her and it makes her look even more beautiful.
"Can I just say something?" I ask
She nods
"You look like you swallowed the whole night sky," she looks confused "because your whole body glows like the moon light, and the stars are trapped in your eyes."
She smiles and kisses me.
