Fragile 26

Sa sobrang bagot ko sa loob ng detention room, pinagtatapon ko ang mga librong nandoon sa shelf. I tore some pages from the books and throw it in the air like a confetti. Ngunit hindi pa rin ako nalilibang sa ginagawa. I want to do something thrilling, something that can take my boredom away.

Napatingin ako kay nerd na nagbabasa ng libro. I put an evil smile on my lips as I think about something exciting.

"Nerd, give me your bag"

Napatingin si nerd sa akin. Ang mga tingin nito ay puno ng pagtataka. I raised my eyebrow at him.

"You're just a slave. Don't ask" I said when he's about to say something

"Here"

Nerd handed me his bag. Ang akala ko ay mabigat ang bag ni nerd dahil nga nerd siya. I expected there were thick books inside pero wala. Sobrang gaan lang ng bag nito.

I opened nerd's bag and check what's inside.  Chocolates, a can of juice, a banana and a hand sanitizer. My lower lip protruded when I saw those things. 

"Ito lang laman ng bag mo?"

"Nagdala ako ng mga pagkain baka magutom ka habang nandito tayo" mahina nitong sabi

Tinaasan ko ng kilay si nerd. I found it weird but thankful since I won't starve while inside this stupid room. But I will die first before i let him know that I'm thankful for the foods.

"Do you like someone?" I asked, better answer, nerd or you'll face the wrath of Daenah Santos

This little interrogation will help me in the future. I should know nerd's weakness.

"Ano ang ibig mong sabihin?"

"Nerd ka ba talaga o hindi? Why do I have to repeat my question?"

"I..." he sighed " Do like someone"

I smirked. Good answer.

"Pity for that someone. What's his name?"

"His?"

"Duh? I know you're gay nerd. Stop hiding"

"Hindi ako-"

"If I say you're gay then you're gay"

Bakit niya pa kailangang ideny iyon? I do have a hint that they have secret relationship with the old dean. Explaining their secret stares when I was in dean's office.

"What's the name of that person? Wait!" I crossed my arms over my chest "Let me guess" I chuckled

"Hindi-"

"He's old. Probably around 50's? Working. You see each other everyday. And he's fvcking annoying" muli kong putol kay nerd

Nerd didn't say anything. He's just listening to me while I speak.

"Hindi si Mr. Cuando ang gusto ko"

"Really? Don't be shy nerd. It's our secret. I won't tell anybody"

Of course I lied. The moment nerd make a mistake he's secret will be out.

It's really an advantage to know someone's weaknesses. You can hold them on their neck. You can control them and you're powerful over them.

"Get your bag. It's heavy and dirty. Good thing you have a sanitizer here."

"May tatlong oras pa bago tayo makalabas. Gutom ka pa ba? May pagkain pa dito"

"Three hours? Ba't ang tagal, bwisit!"

"You can eat..."

"Shut up nerd will you?! Ako lang dapat ang magsasalita sa dito. You will speak when I ask you to"

My head heated in annoyance. Three hours. We still have three fvcking hours in this stupid room!

I glared at nerd. Doon ko lang napansin na may bakat ng kamay sa magabilang pisngi nito. It's reddish probably from my slap earlier.

He deserves it though. Naiirita ako kanina and he's the only one who's there. Naiirita din ako sa mukha nito.


"I fvcking hate you! You disgusting human!" I shouted at his face 

Para bang may biglang sumabog sa aking ulo na nagpapainit doon. Seeing nerd's ugly face triggered the bomb in my head.


I really hate him! 

"Why the fvck are you here I this school by the way? Scholarship? For sure you can't afford this university. It's for rich people only. And looking at you" tiningnan ko si nerd na puno ng pandidiri "You don't belong here. Pinapainit mo ang ulo ko alam mo iyon?"

Hindi nagsalita si nerd.

"Just looking at your face I already hate you to the core. I wish I could throw you to the sun so you'll burn there!" I rant "That old man must be your benefactor, huh?

I don't like what am I feeling right now. Something stirred up in my insidse. It's foreign and I don't like it.

I revolt from nerd. Naglakad ako papunta sa kinauupuan ko kanina.

When my mama died, I completely changed. When I hate someone or something I really loathe. At sa tingin ko hanggang sa mamatay ako ay patuloy ko iyong kamumuhian.

Like for example Therese, Vicente, Teresa and... this nerd. I despise them all!  I wish all of them the unhappiness through out their lives. 

"I think you need to breathe"

"Shut the fvcking up, you fvcking idiot!"

"My name's Dash. Dash Owen"
