I feel so smug right now. I have just successfully dropped Mr Lennon at Teterboro Airport, and I am on my way to The Dakota to see Yoko. I have all the paperwork Mr Lennon requested I give her, and for my final crowning glory, my resignation as well.

When I took this job I was respectful to both Mr Lennon and his wife, and to my surprise, she made it plain I was not to call her Mrs Lennon or Ms Ono. She wanted me to call her Yoko, and that sent a chill through my body.

Early on I started to see their marital dynamic was not normal, it appeared to be more control and domination. Slowly over time, I saw Mr Lennon gradually get some confidence and belief in himself.

Seeing him hit rock bottom probably has been the making of what is happening as we speak. When I found Mr Lennon in his room crying I knew I had to do something. The interview with Mr Peebles was the best thing I could do for him, but now, being able to do this, assisting Mr Lennon regain his freedom, has made my years of employment for him worth something.

While I will be forever grateful to have worked for him, what I will appreciate the most is his kindness and generosity. As I am thinking about how much pleasure I am going to get out of this, the car pulls up at the Hotel. I make sure the folder is not left behind, and I get out and head in to the hotel to change out of my disguise.

After changing and disposing of my disguise, I decide to sit in the bar and have a drink, and wait for my opportunity. Yoko is not due home for another hour, and I don't want to be there when she arrives. I want to catch her on the hop, as this will make this even better.....

I am sitting here in this beautiful private plane owned by Lee Eastman, looking out to the clouds, thinking about how this day has come to fruition.

When Fred suggested a private plane, I thought of chartering one, but Fred surprised me by offering to contact Paul McCartney. Paul is Lee's son in law, and while we have had a rocky relationship since The Beatles split, Fred thought that by asking for Paul's help, it would be a step in the right direction for a future reconciliation with the others in the band.

I have to say I was reluctant at first, but as Fred rightly pointed out, I needed to ask someone Yoko would not think of. I agreed, and when Paul heard from Fred what the intention was, he was not only on board, but would also like to catch up with me when I arrive back in England.

I told Fred for Paul to contact Pete, as he will be able to get in touch with me when I return - as for a short time I will be keeping under the radar. I don't want too many people to know I am back in the UK, not until the dust settles with Yoko dealing with my paperwork.

The stewardess brings me a beer, and as I look out the window, I see hope - hope for what I want, and for what could be......

My moment of time has arrived. I am now walking to The Dakota, and as I approach the Apartment, I enter trying to keep my nerves in check.

I can hear Sean with the nanny, and as I head towards Yoko's office I can hear her laughing with Sam. They both make my skin crawl, and as I knock on the door Sam opens it for me and in true Yoko fashion she is curt and asks what the hell do I want.

Well, she did ask, so I hand her the folder I have been keeping for her soon to be ex husband, and she looks at me - I can envisage the smoke coming out of her ears. She clearly doesn't believe me, so she screams for the nanny.

The nanny comes running, and she asks for Mr Lennon. When the nanny says his room is empty, it is now she realises not only is her husband not here, she is not in control like she thinks.

Yoko turns to me and starts her usual tirade, but before she gets too animated I hand her my resignation - thanking her for the opportunity of my years of employment, but as my employer, her husband is no longer here I have found opportunities elsewhere.

The look on her face is murderous, and I throw my keys at her, say goodbye and walk away from her. Yoko obviously is not use to being given the boot, and as she reads the documentations her voice is higher than a wail - it is so loud you could practically lift the roof off of this building!!!!

Sam goes to comfort her, and as I give her one final glance, she has no idea what to say or do, and boy does this feel so good. She hurriedly tells me this won't be for long, until I mention the small fact Mr Lennon hired his own attorneys, who have ensured all documents are legal and binding.

I wish Yoko well trying to work her way out of this, and she accuses me of brainwashing her husband - she is not for real, right? This woman who is nothing but a manipulative piece of work tries that crap on me, seriously lady, who are you kidding?

I smirk at her and she screams wanting to know where Mr Lennon is - I tell her far far away and walk away from her laughing. Yoko clearly wasn't prepared for this, and I am so proud I could be of assistance to Mr Lennon. Gee I wish I would have taken a photograph of her right now, this would have been worth more than money.

As I walk out of the Apartment, I can still hear all the commotion. I am so happy with how things have gone today, and now I can look forward to the next chapter in my working and life, whatever that may be.....
