"Zeen... huwag mo naman akong iiwan." Halos pabulong na sabi ni Gab. He felt so weak that he couldn't speak anymore. He was kneeling on the sand, his shaking arms on his knees, watching Francine walked away from him.

Why does it keep happening to him? Bakit ba palagi nalang siyang naiiwan? Does he need to just accept it? Is it his destiny?

Ang lupit naman. Napayuko siya.

But no! He wont accept it. Hindi niya alam ang gagawin niya kapag nawala uli ito sa kaniya. He couldn't imagine life without her. Not again! He went through hell.

His tears fell, soaking his eyeglasses.

"Gab!" Narinig niyang tawag ng dalaga sa kaniya. He looked up and squinted through his eyeglasses.

He saw his princess running back to him, crying. He wiped his tears with the sleeves of his jacket but it wont dry up. He was half crying half smiling. His heart pounded crazily like it's gonna come out of his rib cage.

"Babe!"

Oh man!

Before he knew it, Francine was wrapped in his arms while he was kneeling. His face buried on her chest and he could hear her heart racing, matching his. Her arms wrapped around his head.

"I'm sorry." Francine couldn't even speak clearly while crying.

He lost count of how many times Francine said the word sorry. Na para bang hindi ito nakukonteto sa paghingi ng tawad, gayong isang yakap lang nito ay napawi na agad ang bigat sa puso niya. 

"Sssshhh! It's okay babe."

"Hindi na kita iiwan. Bahala na, basta akin ka lang." Sabi ng dalaga sa pagitan ng mga hikbi nito.

Pinigilan niyang mapangiti dahil narinig. Kinikilig yata siya. He didn't say a word and just let his girl confess everything to him. 

"Kung galit ka sakin dahil inaakala mong may alam ako sa pagkakatanggal mo sa posisyon mo sa kompanya nyo, wala akong alam doon." Biglang sabi nito.

"What are you talking about?" Kumunot ang noo niya.

"Hindi ko kayang gawin iyon sayo dahil mahal na mahal kita. At kung hindi ka pa din naniniwala, sige gumanti ka sakin sa kahit anong paraan. Gawin mo akong alila, I will cook for you, lalabahan ko ang mga damit mo, I can be your secretary, I will be your private nurse for free, huwag lang yung magpapakasal ka sa ibang ibabae kasi ikakamatay ko na yun." Sunod sunod na sabi niyo habang umiiyak.

Tuluyan na siyang napangiti. He couldn't believe he's hearing it from her, samantalang kanina lang ay galit na galit ito sa kaniya.

"What? I never thought about that." Painosenteng sagot niya. Hindi pa rin siya nag-aangat ng mukha upang tignan ito. He's enjoying what he's hearing from her, and their position of course. He's in heaven.

"Then why are you getting married?" Her voice cracked.

He didn't answer.
