Francine was slowly walking towards Gab. She wanted to run into his arms but she couldn't. She knew she had lost the right to do that... she threw it away. Habang papalapit siya sa binata ay papalakas ng papalakas ang kabog ng kaniyang dibdib.

Few steps away from him, she stopped walking and stood still behind him. She wanted to call his name but she couldn't find her voice.

The moonlight was giving her a perfect silhouette of a sulking handsome man. Gab chugged down big gulfs of beer from his bottle. She heard him sniffed right after.

Is he crying? Her heart was instantly torn into pieces.

"G-Gab." She called him. Her voice cracked.

Nakita niyang parang natigilan ang binata. Maya-mayang napapailing at natawa ito ng mapait. Gab took one quick gulf of beer and smashed the bottle against the log he was sitting on.

She gasped.

Gab must have heard her, looked behind him and saw her standing there. That was the first time she saw his handsome face again since they parted before, just right there, in the shore.

Nabigla siya sa naging reaksyon ni Gab. Napatayo ang binata paharap sa kaniya. Hindi niya maintindihan dahil bukod sa pagtataka ay may nabasa siyang takot sa reaksyon nito. Napaatras ito.

Na-trauma na din ba sa akin si Gab? Ano itong ginawa ko? Gusto niyang umiyak. She made him like this. She ruined him.

Then Gab's face turned emotionless. Para itong isang mannequin na walang emosyon. His playful smile and his lively eyes that used to adore her, were gone.

"Anong ginagawa mo dito." Gab's baritone voice was monotonous. Tumatagos ang tingin nito na parang hindi siya nakikita. There wasn't even a slight connection. 

She couldn't speak. Parang sinasakal siya sa sakit na nararamdaman. She doesnt know if its from the guilt she's feeling or from the way he was treating her.

"Tsk! Bakit ba kasi nagpapasok ng kung sino sino dito." Narinig niyang sabi ng binata at lumakad ito paalis. Doon lang siya nakapag-salita. She cant lose the chance to talk to him.

"G-Gab! Wait." Habol niya dito.

Gab continued walking briskly and she couldn't keep up with his steps.

"Gab, mag-usap tayo please."

Tuloy tuloy lang ang binata sa paglalakad na parang walang naririnig.

"Gab! I'm sorry. Please." Habol niya dito. Hinawakan niya ito sa braso nito.

Gab abruptly stopped walking and looked at her hand holding his arm as if telling her to let go of him and don't ever touch him again.

Gab finally looked at her in the eyes. His blank stares turned ito a deadly glare. Pero hindi niya matagalan ang galit na galit na paraan ng pagtingin nito sa kaniya.

"Anong sabi mo? Paki-ulit nga." Sabi nito sa kaniya.

"I-I said I'm s-sorry." Nauutal na sabi niya. She didn't know what to say.

"You're sorry?" Gab sneered.

Gab stared at her, smirking. Humalukipkip ito at nangalumbaba. He laughed bitterly. Pumameywang ito at tumingala. Natawa ito.

"Really?" He was laughing.

Napayuko siya. Suddenly she felt embarrassed. She couldn't meet his stare. 

"Bakit? Bakit ka nagso-sorry? Diba wala ka naman kasalanan?" Gab said. Laughing as if he was amused. "Sige nga Francine, tell me, bakit ka nagso-sorry?" He was waiting for her answer.
