TW: swearing, yandere talk, a ton of blood,

"So how did your date go?" Janus asked. It was the next Monday, and Roman was glad that he hadn't ran into Patton at all that day.

"It was strange," Roman muttered. "And despite Virgil being there, he talked barely any until right before I left, and he only talked because Patton left to grab ice cream."

"What'd you talk about?" Logan questioned.

"Not that much. He thought I was dating Patton." Roman sighed, face palming. "I had to explain why the hell I even went on the date. Then he helped me escape early by backing up my story that Remus gets worried about me being out. Apparently he was paying attention when Patton and I were talking. Thank fucking god I got out of there."

"Was it really that bad?"

"Yes," Roman stated. "I'm never going on an accidental date again."

"At least you got to talk to Virgil," Janus said. Roman shook his head, picking at his food absentmindedly.

"Barely. The only time we talked was at the end, and I wouldn't choose to go through that again just to get a few minutes talking to him," Roman said. "I would rather die."

"Damn," Remus said. "I'm honestly surprised you hated it that much."

"How?" Roman asked, raising an eyebrow. "You know what I mean by that, don't deny it. How the hell are you surprised?"

"Well...." Remus sighed. "Okay, I'm not surprised."

"I'm confused," Janus muttered.

"Don't bother," Logan said. "There's no point in being confused when it'll only bring more stress."

"Too late," Janus said.

"Psssst." Roman looked behind him, only to have a note handed to him from the person behind him. He opened it up, but didn't recognize the hand writing.

Meet me in the courtyard after school
~Monica Breeze

Roman looked around the class, but didn't recognize anyone with that name. He sighed softly, knowing that there was no way to get out of it. For some reason people tended to like him, despite however many times he rejected them. Still, it was never the people who he wanted to like him that liked him.

The rest of the day passed by far too quickly for Roman's liking. He wanted to just leave, but of course someone had to give him that note. Maybe he could just pretend he never got it, but there were people in class that knew he had, and that would be an asshole move.

"You ready to go home, Roman?" Remus asked when he met him at the front of the school.

"Sadly no," Roman muttered. "Someone asked me to meet them in the courtyard... again."

"Sorry bro, but this is what you get for being hot," Remus said with a shrug. "You can always bale on them."

"Except I already look like an asshole after what happened with Patton," Roman said. "That'll only bring more trouble if I don't go."

"True," Remus muttered. "This would be easier if I was the one who always got asked out by people I'm not interested in. Your only solution isn't ever a good one."

"Says the one who fucked people in bathrooms," Roman deadpanned. "I don't think smart runs in our blood."

"Doubtful," Remus said. "We share one brain cell but I think we lost it."

"God I wish we could fine it," Roman muttered.

"Same. Oh well, I'll come with you to the courtyard because I've got nothing better to do," Remus said. They started walking to the courtyard, chatting quietly. They weren't paying very much attention to the ground, or they would've noticed the blood running down the stone path.

"That's strange," Roman said. "There's no one here." Finally Remus looked at the ground, gasping quietly.

"Roman, look down," Remus said faintly. Blood was covering the ground around them. It was everywhere, even on some of the nearby trees.

"Holy shit," Roman whispered. "Where the hell did all of this come from?"

"Wait, what's that say over there?" Remus asked, walking over to where the blood spelt out a few words. "Look up..." Blood dripped onto Roman's shoulder, and he looked up in surprised.

Then he screamed.
