Soon the week of your final exams started; although it was grueling, you felt relieved after the end—and slightly confident after your study session with Momo. On the day of the practical exam, you stand next to your classmates in the Center Plaza, looking at the group of pro heroes standing before you.
"Now, we will begin the practical exam. Of course, it is possible to fail this exam. If you want to go to the training camp, then don't make any stupid mistakes. I expect that you all have gathered information ahead of time and have some idea of what you will be doing." You look up in surprise at Mr. Aizawa, and a feeling of worry starts to rise in your chest.
"We're fighting robot warriors like at the entrance exam, right?" Kaminari shouts enthusiastically as Mina joins in his cheers, but you're too focused on the heroes in front of you.
"Too bad! For various reasons, the exam will be different starting this time! From now on, we want to focus on person-to-person combat and hero work, and stress teaching that is closer to actual fighting. So... we'll have you form teams to fight against one teacher!" You watch as Principal Nezu climbs out of Mr. Aizawa's scarf.
"In addition, the teams and who they will be up against has already been decided. These were determined at my discretion based on various factors, including fighting style, grades, and interpersonal relationships, so here they are: First, Todoroki and Yaoyorozu are one team, and they're fighting me. And Midoriya and Bakugo are a team and their opponent..."
All Might jumps down from the sky in front of Midoriya and Bakugo and announces that they will be fighting him. Even though you aren't on their team, you gulp nervously, thinking about how they have to face the number one hero.
You look in the direction of Bakugo and Midoriya and notice that neither of them are looking at each other—you furrow your brow—knowing that the lack of cooperation is obviously coming from Bakugo's side.
"And now, we'll announce the teams and the teachers they'll be up against all at once!" You listen to Principal Nezu as you wait for your assignment, 'Tokoyami and Tsuyu... and we're fighting against Ectoplasm?' you give both of them a small wave, then turn your attention back to the teachers.
"The time limit for the exams is thirty minutes! Your objective is either to put these handcuffs on the teacher, or to have one of you escape from the stage!" Principal Nezu states, and you start trying to think of a strategy to use.
The teachers then start explaining that this is also a test about deciding when to confront a villain and when to run away and get help. You gulp nervously as you think about your interaction with Stain.
"All right, each team will take the practical exam in order on the prepared stage. Sato, Kirishima, get ready. Those waiting their turn can watch the exams or think of strategies as a team. Do what you want. That's all" With that statement, Mr. Aizawa and the rest of the teachers walk into the center—leaving us behind.
"Tokoyami, l/n, let's come up with a plan." Both you and Tokoyami nod in agreement with Tsuyu, and the three of you begin to follow the teachers as you walk into the testing center. Before you walk through the door, you tell Tsuyu and Tokoyami that you'll catch up with them later, then turn around.
You quickly walk up to Midoriya with purpose—he looks at you flustered—wondering why you look so angry. You stop abruptly in front of him, and at this point, Bakugo is also looking in your direction—slightly confused. You slowly take Midoriya's hands in your own, then suddenly slap his cheeks with your hands covering his.
"Huh, l/n?" At this point, his face is completely red.
"You got this!" You grin at him, and he seems to become even more flustered.
