"I won't let you get away so easily!" Bakugo screams at Todoroki and releases more explosions, propelling him further away from the pack.

'I can't believe he's already going this hard? good grief, already making me use my quirk?'

Todoroki releases more ice, but you're able to manipulate light into the soles of your feet, creating friction allowing you to keep moving forward, finally free from the ice patch on the ground. You pass your struggling classmates and notice the previous purple haired student from general studies sitting atop some other students as they carry him across the ice.

'That's strange—is he using his quirk? He has to be—there's no other way... I wonder what his quirk is."

You make eye contact with him again, and he seems to narrow his eyes, but you quickly turn your attention back to the race. You look ahead to see Mineta catching up to Todoroki about to attack him, but he is knocked away by a mechanical arm that looks extremely familiar.

'The villain bots from the entrance exam? They're already trying to make this hard—I'm already starting to feel exhausted' 

"The faux villains from the entrance exam?" You look over to see Midoriya standing right next to you, staring at the horde of robots in front of you. The two of you share a worried look, then turn your attention to the obstacle in front of you.

"Obstacles have shown up suddenly! Starting with... the first barrier! Robo Inferno!" You shudder—not only at Present Mic's words but also at the rows of gigantic robots standing before you. All of them being the same robot that no one in your testing center was able to defeat—zero pointers.

Most of the students stand back, trying to think of a strategy, but Todoroki immediately jumps into action. Touching the ground, he flings his hand towards the robot with his ice following close behind. The robot is completely encased in ice, not to mention incapacitated. He runs through the legs of the robot—continuing the race while the rest of the participants look at the destruction in awe.

Just as you start to take off to follow him, the robots start to collapse.

'That bastard froze them so they would be unbalanced, I might not be super motivated, but now I'm pissed.'

"Amazing! he's the first one through!" You grit your teeth at Present Mic's announcement and start racking your brain for a solution.

Suddenly you look up at the top of one of the fallen robots and see Kirishima break through. 'He was underneath this whole time?'

Almost immediately after Kirishima breaks through, another student pops out right next to him with seemingly similar abilities to Kirishima. Kirishima notices you and smiles, then both of them start running through the obstacle course, arguing about their quirks. You watch as Bakugo blasts over the robot, and soon Sero and Tokoyami join him. They all disappear from your view.

'Shit, I have to actually start working on a solution.' You immediately start running, all ideas of any plan out the window. You evade robot attacks when possible and when confronted head-on—you use the same tactic from the entrance exam, you melt an appendage of their body.

Finally, you see empty space in front of you and begin to run, desperate not to be left behind. In an instant, you feel the wind knocked out of you, and you fall on the ground. "l/n!" you hear Midoriya yell from behind you, and you look to see a robot in front of you. It raises its arm to strike once again, but you aren't close enough to melt it, nor do you have enough time to create a laser.

You start thinking rapidly about how to get out of your current predicament when—almost as if in slow motion—you see Midoriya move. He jumps in between you and the robot and removes its arm with what appears to be a scrap piece of metal.
