Unexpected Hero (BNHA Various x Reader)

'Why is this happening now? Who would do such a flashy attack?' Similar thoughts race through your head as you run after Manual, trying to get to the source of the disaster as quickly as possible. Both you and Manual are completely unaware that Iida was no longer running next to you.

As soon as you reach the site, you widen your eyes in surprise at the scene before you—various versions of Nomus seem to be attacking the city and the heroes that already made it to the scene. Immediately Manual jumps into action and starts to give you instructions.

"Iida, are you ready to go?!" You look behind you—expecting to see him there, but he's missing—you feel your stomach drop. "Manual—we've got a problem—Iida isn't here!"

Manual starts looking around, trying to find Iida but stops when a fire erupts before the two of you—he immediately starts using his quirk to try and put it out. Both you and Manual start yelling for Iida, trying to find him or call him back to the fight, but nothing happens.

Another hero nearby destroys a fire hydrant so Manual can continue to put out the fires. Manual runs away to do his job—you look around trying to decide how you would best be able to help but instead find Midoriya, who is also standing around.

"Midoriya, what're you doing here?" You run towards him, and he looks at you in surprise.

"I was—" He is cut off as a hero steps in front of you and tells you to evacuate, saying that they can hold off the Nomu's for now. Suddenly Midoriya's expression changes, and he starts to run off—you chase after him—yelling at him to slow down a little.

You catch up to him quickly, "Midoriya, where are you going?!"

"To find Iida!" Immediately you realize why Iida disappeared suddenly, and you try to think back to the location where you last saw him.

"I think I know where he went—follow me!" The two of you run quickly through the streets as you hope that your memory is correct. Eventually, you reach a dark alleyway that has three figures in the distance.

You squint your eyes and activate your quirk—hoping that with what little light there is, your quirk will be able to convert it more easily for you to see in the dark—acting as night vision.

'Hey, wait... that's Iida on the ground!' You widen your eyes in surprise as you notice the blood pooling around him—the person standing on him raises his sword, ready to kill him.

You immediately get ready to take off but become stunned when Midoriya races past you with incredible speed—he starts jumping off the walls of the alley and punches the villain in the face—sending him back with a blast. You shake your head and also start to run up to Midoriya and Iida.

You stand next to Midoriya in front of Iida, and Midoriya says, "We came to save you, Iida!" A few moments pass, and he continues, "can you move? We need help from the pros."

"I can't... move my body... ever since he cut me... I think it's his quirk" Both you and Midoriya share a look of concern then turn your attention back to the fight, trying to decide what to do.

"Don't get involved! This has nothing to do with you!"

"What're you saying?" Midoriya looks at Iida surprised.

"Your friends came to save you. But I have a duty to kill him. If we clash, of course, the weaker will be culled. Now, what will you do?" Both you and Midoriya freeze at his words—you silently stand there as Midoriya starts typing something on his phone.

'So we just have to stall, right?' You and Midoriya share a look of understanding then Iida starts speaking once again, "Stop it! Run away! I told you, didn't I? It has nothing to do with you!"
