Unexpected Hero (BNHA Various x Reader)

You find yourself walking around the halls in the direction of the nurse's office. Originally you were going to skip the treatment and watch the fights with your friends, but you decided that if you were going to stand a chance in your next fight, you should probably have your hands fully operable.

You reach the nurse's office and walk-in—you look around the room and see that both Sero and Kaminari are inside. Kaminari seems to almost have returned to his normal state, and Sero looks at you confused.

"l/n what're you doing in here?" Recovery Girl starts speaking to you before you can respond to Sero and asks you what's wrong.

"My hands are hurting a little—I think I might've burned them too much" As you were saying this, you knew it wasn't just a little, but you thought that if you downplayed your injury, then you wouldn't get as much of a scolding for using your quirk too much... you were wrong.

Recovery Girl looks at your hands as you hold them out to her, palms facing up. "What were you thinking!? You shouldn't be using your quirk this much..." you start zoning out as she continues to scold you. You look around the room once again and find that Sero is looking at you with concern. You sheepishly smile back at him, then turn your attention back to Recovery Girl.

She guides you over to a bed to sit on and starts to work on healing your hands. You watch as the blisters seem to dissolve and let out a sigh of relief as the pain lessens. As Recovery Girl starts wrapping your hand in bandages, she starts speaking once again, "You shouldn't use your hands as much in your next match so that your hands can fully recover. You'll probably feel tired right now, so you can wait here and rest." You nod your head at her instructions, and she walks away.You stare at your hands wrapped in bandages and start thinking, 'So I can't use my hands in the next fight? Does she want me to use my feet?! Do I look like the type of person who practices using my quirk that way—I guess that's my own fault but still. I'm gonna need some major help.'

You look up to hear footsteps approaching you and see Sero standing before you. "Hey, Sero, what's up? Why're you in here?"

"From my fight with Todoroki—That guy is insane!" he looks into the distance and shivers, then returns his gaze back to you, "So why are your hands all like that?"

"From my fight with Kaminari," both of you look over at him, and he gives a weird thumbs up.

"So, I'm guessing you won, huh?" Sero says, then sits down on the bed next to you, "Lucky, I wanted to fight more and show off to the hero agencies—I'll bet lots of them will be interested in you now."

You look at the ground, embarrassed, "What? Oh no—there's no way, the fight was pretty short so... I bet if Todoroki wasn't your opponent—you would've advanced to the next round." 'Wait, was that too insensitive?'

Now it was his turn to become embarrassed, "Well, I don't know about that..."

A silence develops as Sero becomes lost in thought. You both turn your heads around to feel another person sitting on the bed next to you two, "I can't believe I lost to you l/n!"

You grin at Kaminari then say, "Maybe you'll just have to train harder then," You cross your arms with an unusual amount of smugness in your body language.

Kaminari surprises you by saying, "Yeah, we'll have to train together soon sometime!" and he pulls out the piece of paper you slipped into his pocket earlier.

Sero looks at you, then Kaminari with the piece of paper in his hand, he stands up and says, "We should all train together!" and pumps his fist smiling.

You stand up next to Sero and say, "For sure, but right now, we should probably get back to the fights."

Both you and Sero start to walk towards the door and Kaminari chimes in, "Let's get outta here!" then proceeds to put his arms around both you and Sero with him standing in the middle.You blush from the sudden contact, then wriggle out from his hold, and the three of you walk to the stands together.
