Unexpected Hero (BNHA Various x Reader)

You walk around the stadium hurriedly, checking all of the hallways and entrances as you go—hoping to find Midoriya so that both of you can make it to lunch in time. It's not like you specifically wanted to eat lunch with Midroiya, but you wanted to make sure that he was ready for his battle.

You stop as you near a sign that says, "Faculty and Student Entrance," and hear what appears to be Midoriya nervously speaking to someone. "If we don't hurry, the cafeteria will probably be really crowded." You inch closer to the entrance, trying to see who Midoriya is speaking to, and catch a glimpse of Todoroki's hair.

'Huh? What's this? A lovers quarrel?...' you shake your head to yourself mentally facepalming,

'Wait, don't be stupid y/n, he's probably mad about the results or something' You inch closer to the pair, staying out of sight.

Todoroki starts talking about being overpowered and some pledge that he broke, 'A pledge? Is that why he doesn't use his left side—I feel like I should already know this stuff.'

"At that last instant, I was the only one who was overpowered. Only me, who had experienced All Might's full power up close."

"What does that mean?" Midoriya responds hesitantly.

"It means I felt something similar coming from you. Midoriya, are you... All Might's secret love child or something?" Todoroki finishes speaking, and there is a pause from the other side.

'PFT—What?! That's ridiculous! There's no way,' the more you think about his claim, the more comical you find it, and eventually, a small giggle escapes your mouth. Suddenly the air from inside the entrance becomes stiff, and you widen your eyes in realization.

'Did they hear me? Wait, I don't have enough time to hide!' You look around frantically, hoping to find a crowd of people to blend into, but everyone has already made their way to lunch. You run back the way you came and turn into another entrance hall that can lead you back to the pair. You let out a breath of relief and start to make your way down the corridor, hoping to continue your eavesdropping—only this time at a more discreet location.

THIRD POV
Midoriya stiffens as he hears what he thinks is l/n's laugh. 'Why would l/n be here? They couldn't be looking for me, right?' He thinks to himself, with a slightly warm feeling in his stomach.

Todoroki leans outside the entrance—looking for the source of the laugh—he narrows his eyes as he catches a glimpse of l/n's h/c hair going into another entrance. He returns to face Midoriya, contemplating whether he will have to find l/n later after he finishes talking with Midoriya.

Y/N POV
You round the corner quickly and immediately stop in your tracks as you find the hallway empty except for Bakugo a few feet away leaning against the wall—listening intently to someone speaking.

'Is he eavesdropping too? Wait, what do I do?' You frantically turn your head, trying to find a new direction to go. You start to turn away when you watch in horror as Bakugo turns his head and makes eye contact with you. 'shit' you smile nervously and give a half-wave. He glares at you, then turns back around to continue his eavesdropping.

You assume that this is his way of letting you join him, and you slowly shimmy your way to the spot right next to Bakugo—either he doesn't notice your presence, or he ignores it—but he made no response. You become tense and start to tune into the previous conversation you were listening to.

"Since he couldn't surpass All Might, he moved onto his next plan."

"What are you talking about, Todoroki? What are you trying to tell me?" Midoriya's voice echoes through the hallway.
