Unexpected Hero (BNHA Various x Reader)

"Hey, you!" You lift your head suddenly, looking ahead, thinking that someone was trying to get your attention as you near the school. As you get closer to the entrance, you see that the voice belonged to a reporter trying to interview Midoriya. You look around, embarrassed, hoping that no one saw you react. Thankfully, the only other classmates you could see were already being interviewed.

You groan as you continue walking towards the crowd. 'I really don't want to deal with overly pushy people today. I'm so tired I think I might snap at someone if I'm pushed too far today.' You think about last night and how your parents were being overly protective of your injuries.

FLASHBACK
"y/n why do your hands look like that?! It looks like you got burned!"

"Oh, it was just some training stuff. I think it might've been a drawback of using my quirk too much," you reply to your parents lazily.

They glance between each other nervously, and after a prolonged silence, your dad says to you, "y/n you should be more careful—you know how I can get really tired from using my quirk for too long, and your mom can get burns from controlling too much light."'

So there's a limit to what I can do...'

"Okay, I promise I won't get hurt anymore," you reply, fully knowing that it was an impossible task, but you still wanted to ease your parents' minds. After telling them good night, you leave to your room to try and get some sleep.

However, as soon as you crawl into bed, you can't stop thinking about all the stuff that happened today. '

I can't believe I passed out like that— how embarrassing, its not like I was trying to be invisible, but I didn't want to be known as the classmate that can't handle their power. And what was up with Midoriya and Bakugo today? Why was All Might talking with both of them? maybe they've finally worked out their squabble, though I doubt it, knowing the way that Bakugo can be...'

PRESENT
You yawn, mad at your brain for keeping you up all night with thoughts that didn't even concern you. You finally near the crowd of reporters and notice that Iida, Uraraka, and Midoriya are all caught answering questions about All Might as a teacher. You stand there for a couple of seconds, trying to decide what to do when Bakugo passes you walking briskly.

You make a hasty decision and decide to follow him through the crowd, almost using him as a shield. "Excuse me! Can you tell me about All Might— Oh? You're the one who was caught by the sludge villain..." the reporter is cut off as Bakugo says, "Stop it!" and continues walking towards the classroom.

Before you can become separated from your shield, you quickly catch up to Bakugo, ignoring the reporters. He notices you following him and glares. You nervously smile, trying to defuse the tension. "Stop following me."

You look at him with a bewildered expression and mutter, "I wasn't following you on purpose..." under your breath.

"What was that, you damn nerd?" Your mouth turns into an 'o' as you realize that you said that out loud and say, "Nothing" as you speed off, arriving at the classroom ahead of him. Before you head to your seat, you feel the ground rumble beneath you and look outside the window. You blink multiple times, watching metal walls start to surround the perimeter of U.A., blocking the reporters from coming any further.

'Woah—I guess they really care about our safety...'

You sit down at your desk, and Bakugo finally steps into the classroom and immediately glares at you. You quickly look away, humming nonchalantly, which seems to make him angrier. You look down at your hands clasped on top of your desk, trying to ignore his obvious hatred for you.
