Each team is worth the total of it's members' points, and the rider will wear a headband with that number on their foreheads. Teams will try to grab each other's headbands until time runs out, and try to keep as many

'Twelfth place, huh? So how many points is that? Around 155, right?'

"You'll be removed immediately! Now, you have fifteen minutes to build your teams. Start!"

'Wait, this is too fast—hang on.' You look around to see everyone already walking to other people trying to form teams. 'If I really want to win, I could try to team up with Bakugo or Todoroki, but I doubt that they would want me to be on their team... I could team up with Midoriya, but that's still pretty risky.'

You look over to see many of your classmates trying to team up with Bakugo—then they walk away after he says something that you couldn't hear—only Kirishima and Mina remain. You make eye contact with Kirishima, "Hey, l/n join our team!"

"Yeah, we could win with your help!" Mina chimes in.

Bakugo looks a little irritated at Mina's statement, but you walk over anyways, "Huh? Really?" you say and look at them hopefully.

"For sure! You—" Kirishima is interrupted by Bakugo.

"l/n? What can that nerd do? We can win without them! Hey, Sero!" he calls, and Sero starts to jog over. You stare at him in disbelief as he smirks slightly.

"Wait, Bakugo l/n can—" Kirishima is interrupted once again, only this time it's your turn to speak.

"Okay, well, you know what? I'm gonna form my own team, and I'm gonna beat you." You say, crossing your arms smugly.

'Wait—what? What am I saying? I can't be this angry, my pride can't be hurt that much... maybe I'm just tired or something, why do I care so much?'

"What was that?" he growls.

"You're going to lose." You say through slightly gritted teeth and then turn on your heels, fuming. You ignore Bakugo shouting as Kirishima holds him back from attacking preemptively.

You start walking towards Iida in hopes that he could help you out. You tap on his shoulder and ask, "Iida, do you already have a team?"

He notices your slightly irritated state and asks, "l/n are you okay?—you look upset."

"Yeah, I'm fine... don't worry about it—so anyways—do you wanna team up with me?"

He looks at you with concern that starts to turn into guilt, "Sorry, l/n I'm already on a team with Todoroki, but I'll go ask if you can join."

Before he runs off, you look at Todoroki—who looks back at you coldly, and you stop Iida, "You know what, it's fine—I think I'll find someone else thanks anyway" you smile at him.

"Sorry l/n," He says as he watches you leave to try and find someone to team up with, almost regretting his choice.

'Wait—how long has it been? I need to find someone quick.' You feel the worry start to build up—then you spot Aoyama, Ojiro, and the student from general studies class.

You speed over to them and start talking to Aoyama and Ojiro, "Hey guys, can I join your team—I'm desperate." They don't respond—in fact, it doesn't even seem like they heard you, almost as if they're in some sort of trance.
