You sit up abruptly to the sound of your alarm beeping—reaching over, you shut it off quickly, then excitedly pull out your official U.A. high school uniform and put it on as quickly as possible. Normally, you aren't a very excitable person, but this was the school with a really low acceptance rate, and you made it into the hero course too? of course, you were excited.
You quickly walk to the dining room and take a seat at the table where both your parents are already sitting drinking coffee. Your dad sets down a plate of (insert favorite breakfast food), and you smile at it getting your utensils ready. "I made your favorite y/n for your first day at U.A.," your dad says as he sits back down, continuing to sip his coffee.
You scarf it down quickly and get up to leave, walking towards the front door when your parents stop you and say, "y/n we just want to let you know that we're very proud of you and can't wait to see what you accomplish. good luck on your first day and remember... plus ultra!" you cringe inwardly as your parents proudly shout your school's motto and reply back, "Thanks mom and dad... love you guys."
You quickly put on your shoes and grab the bag that you had conveniently already placed at the entrance the night before. "I'm off!" You announce as you leave the house and start walking to U.A.
'I hope I get there in time—I think I left early enough, although I'm pretty sure that U.A. is farther from my house than my old middle school.' Worriedly, you start to pick up the pace just in case, and you reach the school in record time with at least twenty minutes before class starts.
You stand before the huge door leading into classroom 1-A, then walk in only to find that there is already another student there. Bakugo sits in a chair, with his feet propped up on the desk in front of him. His head turned towards you due to the noise of the opening door.
You subconsciously widen your eyes as he glares at you recognizing your face. You remember how your teacher congratulated both you, Bakugo and Midoriya, for being accepted into U.A. last year. He continues to glare at you, almost as if he's expecting a challenge. But, you simply walk past him to a seat in the back of the classroom, as far away from him as possible.'
Jeez, I knew Bakugo was capable of being accepted, but why was I put in the same class as him?' You think sarcastically and smirk to yourself.
"What're you smirking at you damn extra? What, you think you're better than me?" Bakugo demands. You look at him taken aback, then narrow your eyes and simply say, "Possibly." You watch as he starts to get more enraged, but before he can respond, more students walk into the classroom while he glares at you and simply goes, "tch".
Of course, you didn't actually think you were better than him; in fact, you admired him in a way—seeing as how strong he is and his determination, but you weren't going to let him antagonize you, and it was fun to mess with him a little bit.
More students file into the classroom, and you examine each one, curious about their quirks until a tall student with glasses walks in whom you recognize but can't remember his name. He stares at Bakugo with his feet on the desk and opens his mouth to speak.
"Don't put your feet on the desk! Don't you think thats rude to the U.A. upperclassmen and the people who made the desk?"
'Pft, this guy is uptight, sure it's a little disrespectful, but usually a teacher will scold the students, plus its Bakugo we're talking about...'
Bakugo smirks and says, "Nope. What junior high did you go to, you side character? The top two?"
The student straightens up and states, "I attended Somei Private Academy. My name is Tenya Iida."'
