While you were excited to start improving, your eagerness didn't last very long after you realized what you would have to do. Like everyone else, you had limits, your main one being how easily injured you can become through the use of your quirk. That's why it was decided that you would work on the capacity of light energy you could store in your body and release it.

You soon found yourself standing off to the side like many of your other friends, and you began to get to work. Essentially, you had to gather up as much light energy as you could and store it in your body while constantly releasing some of it. You were cycling the energy—trying to increase the amount of input and output at the same time. You were also timing yourself on how much light energy you could hold onto before you became extremely injured. You were hoping that in the future, you would be able to store light energy inside for whenever you might need it, at times when there is little light available.

You hadn't really used your quirk like this before—you were used to only releasing light energy in short bursts—therefore, you were becoming exhausted quickly, and the longer you trained, the more injured various parts of your body became. After doing this for a while, you take a deep breath and glance over at your classmates, working hard to improve their own quirks.

You let out a sigh, then continue to get back to work, 'I can't slack off, not when everyone else is working so hard' for the rest of your time training, you felt like you were burning constantly—especially in your hands. You weren't too worried because you were used to this kind of pain, but you also knew that eventually, there was a limit. 'I wonder if I'll be able to keep this up for the rest of the week...'

Soon it becomes dusk, and Pixie Bob along with Ragdoll reveal a pile of ingredients before you, and she states, "Now, remember what I said yesterday? Todays the only day we'll be doing stuff for you!"

"At least make your own food!" Ragdoll continues, and you, along with the members of both classes, groan.

Iida soon takes charge, coming to the conclusion that every experience is important for becoming a hero, "Let's make the most delicious curry in the world, everyone!" Everyone groans at his statement but soon gets to work.

You watch along with Mina and Uraraka as Todoroki goes around lighting the fires—Bakugo eventually tries to use his quirk to do the same but ends up exploding everything. You slightly smirk as he starts to sulk but quickly hide it once he looks in your direction.

After a while, dinner is ready, and you sit down to start eating. You listen to your classmates as they start discussing Momo's quirk and stifle a laugh when Sero compares it to pooping. Jiro scolds him, and once Momo recovers, she looks at you then starts talking, "what about your quirk l/n? Don't you need lots of food?"

"Hmm, well, the only energy I need for my quirk is light, so..."

"Yeah, I was watching you earlier, and it looks like you were doing a lot—doesn't it hurt constantly cycling the light? Won't you get burned?"

You stare at her for a couple of seconds as you process what she said, 'she was watching me?' She seems to also realize her statement and begins to blush. You grin and put your hands out in front of you, "I've built up a resistance to this kind of thing, so I'll be fine."

She slowly grabs one of your hands and lowers it, looking at the different kinds of tissue on your hands. There aren't any scars yet, but you do have different areas that are in various stages of the healing process—hopefully, you won't completely burn off your skin to the point of it being unusable.

She continues to stare at your hand, and some of your classmates sitting next to her do the same—you start to get embarrassed and slowly pull your hand away. She looks up at you and smiles, "well, that's good."
