"it's so sad junhui couldn't make it. does anyone know where he is?" jeonghan asked to whoever was listening in general, sipping his delicious cold brewed americano through a green straw.

"i heard him say he's got a doctor's appointment, if i'm not mistaken?" chan answered, for once not intending a discussion with the elder.

they were all seated in seungcheol's cafe on a calm evening. the place had already been closed off for customers and since the upper floor and balcony were still under a lot of renovation, they had no other choice than to wait for sunset and to visit the cafe after closing hours. it was around ten now all friends were gathered together, junhui being the only one missing in their company.

"let's just hope it's nothing serious." jisoo sighed, resting his hand on soonyoung's shoulder in an attempt to calm him down. after the boy's third cup of coffee, his outburst of energy was undeniably worse than ever. "and can someone please stop serving this kid coffee! he's giving me a headache."

seungcheol's head appeared from behind the counter, cocking a brow on jisoo's request. "sorry bud, tonight's on hannie so it's up to him if he wants soonyoung to have another one." jeonghan's head instantly peered up, crossing his arms defensively. "excuse me? why am i only hearing about this now?"

the black haired barista was quick to rush back inside his kitchen, being followed soon enough by a jeonghan who was clearly against this whole thing. the remaining boys around the table revel in warm laughter and cozy chattering, the atmosphere being perfect to them.

"guys, i think it's time for me and wonwoo to go home. it's getting late." mingyu used an excuse to spend some more quality time with just wonwoo, as he knew wonwoo preferred rather quiet spaces anyhow. they had been there for three hours already, they could both use a break from caffeine that would most likely keep them up all night.

"oh come on, you're just boring!" soonyoung yelled, trying to release himself from jisoo's grip so he could jump on top of his chair to continue his imitation of a tiger.

"we've been here for the entire evening!" wonwoo protested, laughing in delight as he got up from his chair to wear the thin coat he brought along.

"that's true, jeonghan and i are closing off soon too." seungcheol appeared from the kitchen with a smirking jeonghan trailing him. the black haired barista had taken off his apron and now gave off a way more casual vibe. "or we can stay a little longer after they're gone.." jeonghan whispered mischievous, which he intended to be only audible for seungcheol.

"come on! keep that in your bedroom please!" chan pulled a disgusted face as he lowered his cup of coffee. "god, you made me lose my appetite for the cookie i saved for last!"

"that's your own fault!" jeonghan argued back, playfully ruffling through the youngest his hair as he knew how much chan hated that.

"see you tomorrow guys!" wonwoo interrupted the playful fight as he made his way to the entrance together with mingyu. they all bid each other a final goodbye before the couple left the cafe, being greeted by a cool breeze.

"it's quite cold for a summer evening." mingyu said, hiding his cheeks in the high collar of his beige trench coat, reaching for wonwoo's hand right afterwards.

"told you we should've went by car." wonwoo stated, knowing he now finally won the endless discussion they had about this topic earlier. mingyu wasn't one to easily admit his defeat, but with him whining about the weather he couldn't even deny his own mistake himself.

"ugh. you're right." mingyu huffed before he looked at wonwoo beside him and showed his characteristic smile, exposing his entire upper row of pearly white canines. "at least i still have you with me. and you can't say walking underneath the moonlight hand in hand isn't romantic. didn't you read that in a book a while ago?"

"yeah i did, how'd you remember?" wonwoo asked, confused about how mingyu remembered such small detail.

"i remember everything you tell me, it can always come in handy you know." their conversation's were just simple yet so meaningful to both. especially now, on their walk home.

both had learnt, after the incident a few weeks back, that every moment they spent together was worth to treasure. even when they saw each other almost every day, moments like these only seemed to become more magic than those they shared before. as if their love was truly undying and only grew stronger the more time passed by.

"i think it's turning autumn soon, seeing how the leaves are turning orange." wonwoo exclaimed as he pointed out a tree on the other side of the calm street. barely any car passed by at this time as most stores along the pavement were closing or had already closed off earlier.

"it better be, i'm starting to get sick of this heat. summer has never really been my favorite season." mingyu chuckled when he heard wonwoo silently giggling, another sound he adored so much.

"me neither. i prefer winter over any other season." wonwoo said, seeing how mingyu cocked a brow. "winter? oh please, you really are a cold person aren't you? what's the fun about winter?just let spring come already."

and when both continued discussing about their favorite seasons, they knew that no matter what time of the year it was, it would be beautiful nonetheless now they were able to spend their days together. wonwoo would be able to show mingyu the godlike sceneries of winter. the sparkling iced lakes he loved to walk by, or all those willows with its twigs covered in a thin layer of snow.

and mingyu would be able to show him all the pastel shades of spring, where flowers bloomed and color would be everywhere. they would be able to experience new things together and share the things they already loved to do with their significant other.

"i actually still have this.." mingyu let out a disappointed sigh as he reached for the pocket of his trench coat, pulling out a nearly empty pack of cigarettes. just seeing the little box brought up so many memories to both, horrendous things they preferred to forget about but that also made part of the relationship they built up. "i think it's time that i finally throw them away."

"have you smoked since, you know.. back then?" wonwoo was careful to ask, seeing they barely ever brought up those memories.

"i actually haven't. ever since i heard about what happened to you i wasn't able to even touch them." mingyu explained, leading them both to a nearby trash can. "i don't think i need them anymore. i have you now. life actually got a lot better when i got rid of my addiction and got back with you, so i don't see why i should keep them."

wonwoo was dearly touched by his words and reached for the hand mingyu held the petite box with, directing it in the same way mingyu initiated it in. "then let's do it together, shall we?"

mingyu nodded determined and let go of the package, watching how it disappeared in the trash can. he let out a sigh of relieve before he pressed a gentle kiss against wonwoo's temple. "i'm proud of you, gyu." wonwoo spoke in his angelic deep voice, making mingyu squeeze his hand so they could continue their walk.

"thank you. i'm so grateful to have you here with me wonwon. i really am." mingyu said in all honesty, continuing his steps on the pavement as he looked his boyfriend directly in his gorgeous almond eyes.

if it wasn't for wonwoo, mingyu would have probably still been smoking and most likely hadn't been able to get over his bad habits. but with wonwoo by his side, walking underneath a blanket of darkness and stars that kept them safe, mingyu knew he was able to overcome anything.

maybe both boys weren't flawless, but their love was. and in the end, that is all that matters.

and just like that, flaws has come to an end.
