it's been two weeks since the day where wonwoo regained his memories. him and mingyu had spend a lot of time together during those two weeks. mingyu had taken him on occasional dates, as the weather was completely in their odds and the sun had been shining endlessly. they called, texted and met up wherever there was time. since summer break was still in full swing they were allowed to spend all their days.

and now, it was time for wonwoo to meet mingyu's brother. they would be sleeping together for the first time in ages, which made wonwoo somewhat nervous. beside the fact that he had to meet an important family member of mingyu.

mingyu had been against it that they were visiting his place at first, but realized it was also a part of the process. he wanted to show himself to wonwoo in every shade possible, meaning he also had to show his vulnerable side that reminded him of his past. but with wonwoo by his side, he felt more courageous when it came to such things.

wonwoo had made it to the sixth floor and now stood in front of mingyu's apartment, gently knocking on the door as he couldn't find a doorbell. soon after, the familiar posture of mingyu appeared in the doorstep, having a clumsy smile plastered on his face as he quickly took the opportunity to look wonwoo up and down.

"hey there, stranger." mingyu confidently spoke, opening his arms and offering wonwoo a welcoming hug, which wonwoo accepted gratefully. they both decided it would be for the best to keep kissing off limits for a while so they could both take enough time to readjust to each other.

which was quite difficult in some occasions.. especially after that one kiss they shared when wonwoo's memories had returned. but both settled for long lasting hugs in the meanwhile, which was just as intimate and special in both boys opinion.

"i don't think strangers are supposed to share hugs like this." wonwoo giggled as mingyu was the first one to pull back from their hug, just in case namjoon and seokjin would be lurking at them from the couch. which was quite impossible in the narrow hallway, yet still mingyu feared to undergo the embarrassment namjoon would most likely cause.

"let's introduce you, shall we?" mingyu offered just to get over with it soon enough. they had purposely planned to meet up after dinner, so namjoon wouldn't be able to tell embarrassing stories about mingyu's youth. or a worse scenario, pull out the picture box of when mingyu was still a baby, which namjoon kept in a safe place for when mingyu would bring his first lover home.

wonwoo hesitantly nodded before following mingyu towards the living room, nervously eyeing the two grown-ups seated on the couch. they only differed six or seven years at most, yet still wonwoo seemed intimidated by their presence.

"you must be wonwoo!" namjoon shot up from the couch before mingyu even had the chance to introduce the sweating boy next to him, whose eyes widened a little. namjoon's voice was a little deeper than his own and wonwoo noticed he barely even looked like mingyu, except for his tall height.

"h-hi, yes i'm wonwoo." wonwoo hated himself for stuttering and quickly shook namjoon's hand, who didn't seem to have an issue with his shyness and just smiled the awkwardness away.

"nice to meet you wonwoo. i'm the big brother, i assume you've already heard of me. i'm namjoon." the tall man introduced himself, pulling the other boy with obnoxiously bright colored hair closer by his waist. "and my name is seokjin. i'm his boyfriend and i also practically live here."

wonwoo shook his hand too and politely nodded, taking a small box out of his backpack he bought at the convenient store on his way here. "i bought you something. if i knew there would be two of you i would've bought another box." wonwoo offered the petite box of chocolate that was cutely decorated with a red ribbon tied around it, making both namjoon and seokjin let out sounds of awe.

"damn man, you really picked the right one." namjoon gave mingyu a proud tap on his shoulder, taking the chocolate box from wonwoo.

"you only say that because he brings you food." mingyu scoffed, protectively draping his arm around wonwoo's shoulder which seemed to spread a blush over the curly heads cheeks.

"say wonwoo, i know you only just got here but would you be interested in seeing some of mingyu's best photo's-" "-no! we ain't doing that! wonwoo should unpack his bag first!" mingyu already dragged wonwoo to his bedroom before he had the chance to let namjoon finish.

"but.. i don't need to unpack my-" "-yes you do! follow me!" mingyu interrupted him as he quickly closed the door behind him, shutting out any form of embarrassment he was about to receive from his big brother.

the two remained silent for a minute as wonwoo's eyes wandered through the room, making mingyu feel slight traces of shame on how much it differed from wonwoo's neatly organized and way bigger bedroom. he didn't have much space and the wallpaper that was formally smoothed out over the concrete background even ripped at most places and hung loose. even the wooden floor contained cracks. not even to start about the windowsill that started crumbling its stone.

"i'm sorry, i know it's not a lot." mingyu broke loose from his original confidence when he saw no trace of emotion on wonwoo's face and he wasn't sure whether he was judging or inspecting his room. even when he put all his effort into cleaning and putting everything in place, it still looked whack.

but the only response he received from wonwoo was a sudden tight hug which he returned all too willingly. "i feel at home here." wonwoo whispered in all honesty. because to him, every place felt like home as long as he was with mingyu. and no, his room might not be the prettiest, but does that bother one in a relationship? of course not.

"you're just saying that to make me feel better." mingyu chuckled, shamelessly burying his nose in the soft substance of wonwoo's hair.

"i wouldn't have hugged you if i didn't mean what i just said." wonwoo admitted, having absolutely no clue of the smile that appeared on mingyu's face.

mingyu had finally been able to show wonwoo his biggest vulnerability by bringing him home. and for the first time in the seven years that he had been living here, he could actually call it a home. now wonwoo was here by his side.

maybe bringing him to his place hadn't been such a bad idea after all.
