Him ; Peter Parker

Part 9

"Excuse me, you don't use that language while I'm around." He says.

"I'm sorry. But what is the 'Stark internship'?"

"What are you talking about?"

"The boy that I was talking about yesterday.  His name's Peter. Yeah, and he was talking about the Stark internship. What is that?" My dad's mouth was on the floor.

"Um..."

"Dad, please tell me!"

"I don't know what that Peter kid was talking about."

"Yeah, you do dad!"

"No, I don't and even if I did, I couldn't tell you."

"Okay," I say. I walk back upstairs to my room and get ready for the party.

Party Time

I got dressed into a nice and some jeans then I put on some makeup. I walk downstairs and see my mom.

"Hey! You look amazing," she says.

"Thank you!" I reply, taking the compliment. She takes me outside.

"I'm driving you," she says.

"Okay!" We start driving and soon get to the houses. Then we get to a house that has a lot of people outside and lots of cars.

"I think we're here," I say.

"Okay, I love you sweetie. Have fun!"

"I love you too mom!" I get out of the car and shut the door. Then my mom drives off. I walk up to the front door and one it. Music is blasting and people have drinks in their hands. Most of them are dancing. I look around, trying to find Liz. Then Liz comes up to me.

"Hey!" She says and gives me a hug. I hug her back.

"Hi!"

"I'm so glad that you could come!" She was almost screaming because of how loud the music is.

"Me too!"

"Do you want a drink?"

"Sure," I say and Liz hands me a red solo cup.

"Thanks." She nods and brings me over to a more quieter place. I see Betty and Charles. I go up to them and when Betty sees me, her face lights up.

"Callie! You made it!" She squeals and hugs me.

"Yeah, I did."

"I'm so happy you're here," she says, with a warm smile on her face.

"Thank you," I say, returning the smile. We all sit there and talk for about 30 minutes. Then Liz gets up.

"More people are here. I'm going to go greet them, I'll be back!" She says and I nod. Liz doesn't come back and Betty shakes me.

"Let's go to the dance floor!" She says. Before I could respond, Betty grabs my hand and drags me along with her. The music is really loud and there are a lot more people on there since I first showed up. People start bumping into me and jumping up and down. The music just keeps getting louder and louder. I start to feel panic set in.

"I have to get out of here," I think to myself. Everything starts getting closer to me and trying to trap me. I start breathing really heavy. Then, I feel like I can't breath. Finally, I find an opening and get out of the group. I still can't breath all the way so I run outside. Once I closed the door, I breath in the fresh outdoor air. My heart rate calms down and I start to feel fine. Then I heard someone talking. I go to the side of the house and I see it. I see the blue and red spandex and I see a boy without a mask on. I use my telekinesis to lift myself up and I get closer to them. Then I see the side of the persons face.

"Peter...?" I say. Peter turns to me and his eyes open wide.

"Callie! Umm...I can explain." He says.

"You're...you're...you're Spider-Man. I mean, that does make lots of since because you remind me of the one I mean at the airport. Oh my god, wait til my dad finds out that you're using the suit for parties! He's going to take the suit away." I say.

"Wait, you're dad?"

"Dad? I didn't say dad," I laugh a little bit.

"Yes you did. Wait Tony Stark is your dad?"

"Shh! No one can know! I guess we both figured out something we're not supposed too."

"No you didn't. Because I'm not-" something cuts Peter off when he shows his attention for it. I turn around to see it too. A bright blue explosion in the distance went off.

"What the hell?" Peter asks. I turn back to Peter. "Okay, fine. I'm Spider-Man and you can't tell anyone." I nod my head. Peter puts on his mask. He starts shooting webs through the trees and swings.

"Where are you going?" I ask. He doesn't answer so I just use my telekinesis and fly after him. Then I see him stop and shoot a web at nothing.

"This sucks!" He yells.

"Hey, Parker!" He looks up at me and sees me flying. I could tell his mouth dropped.

"How-"

"Just come on," I say. I use my telekinesis and lift him up too. I fly towards the blue explosion. Then we get to a bridge. Peter goes down the side of the bridge and I drop down to the ground. A blue ray shoots through the air at a great speed. The car then blows up, scaring both of us. I look at Peter and he looks at me. Then one of them starts laughing.

"Okay, okay, okay. I got what you need, all right? I got tons of great stuff here. One sec," the seller says. Then he opens up the back of the van. A bunch of machinery and weapons are displayed.

"Okay, I got, uh, black hole grenades, Chitauri railguns..." the seller shows the buyer them. Then another guys walks from the front of the van.

"You letting off shots in public now? Hurry up. Look, times are changing. We're the only ones selling these high tech weapons," seller 2 says.

"I need something to stick up somebody. I'm not trying to shoot them back in time," the buyer says.

"I got anti-grav climbers," seller 1 says.

"Yo, climbers?" The buyer asks. Then a yodeling ringtone plays. I look at Peter and he takes out his phone. I hide behind the concrete wall.

"Okay, what the hell was that?" Seller 1 asks.
Then I heard a gun.

"Did you set us up?" Seller 2 questions.

"Hey, hey, man." The buyer says. I peer back out and see seller 2 holding a gun at the buyer. Then Peter flips off the wall and lands on the ground.

"Hey! Hey, come on. You gonna shoot at somebody, shoot at me." He says.
