that I almost gave you everything.

Michael almost fell off his chair when Noah walked into his office.

The man laughed and asked if he was okay.

"Yeah, just let me reply to this text," After he was done, he looked at Noah and gave him his full attention. "Did you want something?"

Noah came to his desk and handed him a file. "You wanted this printed, is Calum back?" He asked and nodded towards Michael's phone.

Michael rolled his eyes. "No, he comes back on Monday. An old friend is back in town."

"That's good," He laughed at Michael's eye roll. "Knowing you have other friends."

"Speaking of Calum, I leave work early on Monday to pick them up from the airport, boss knows but just so you won't bring me lunch or anything."

"Why don't you just take the day off or work from home?"

Michael thought about spending some extra time with Calum. Maybe a day off wouldn't be bad. "Will you let the boss know?"

Noah rolled his eyes. "You can call him Will, you know? He was supposed to be your father-in-law."

With that he left the office, leaving a laughing Michael behind.

Michael looked at his phone to see if he got the reply he was waiting for.

Depends on what you had in mind. (-: I'm working in the evening and have something in the morning.

It's okay if you don't have time.

I want to go and see a building that we'll be applying to renovate. Calum usually goes with me as I like some feedback.

From: Luke Hemmings

No, I'd love to see you. I have about two hours between the thing and work.

To: Luke Hemmings

Great, text me when and where to pick you up and I can also drop you off at work.

Like the Saturday before, Michael was sitting in his car waiting for Luke.

In his opinion, the last week's hangout session went okay considering everything.

Considering the time, they hadn't seen each other, how they left things when they did speak last, and how awkward it was.
