Luke just finished his weekly phone call with his brother when he heard a car pull in.

He couldn't see the driveway through his window so he had to go to the hallway.

It was too soon for Michael to come home but Luke wouldn't mind.

Since his and Michael's classes had started, they had abandoned the wolf classes and Luke was stuck up with reading a lot of books.

To his surprise, he was not the only wolf in his class. But it wasn't a fun coincidence as most werewolves decided to homeschool, especially after they got to their teenage years and started to turn.

Meanwhile, Michael would leave for days at a time as his university course was thought in person.

Whenever Michael would come home, he and Luke would go over all the questions Luke had for him. Neither of the boys ever mentioned that Luke could have asked either of Michael's parents.

To his disappointment, the car didn't belong to Michael but neither did it belong to anyone Luke knew.

He walked down the stairs just in time to catch the older girls running towards the car.

"Oh," Karen said once she walked out of the classroom. "It's Ashley."

Luke had never heard of her so he followed Michael's mum outside.

Ashley, who definitely smelled like a wolf, had brought presents for kiddos and Luke had only felt slightly jealous when neither of the kids noticed his presence.

Except for Lucas.

"Who's that?" He asked Luke as he took his hand.

Luke shook his head. "I don't know bud, we should probably go over and introduce ourselves."

Lucas pulled Luke's hand and when the older girl noticed them, she smiled brightly. She was short but her smile made up for that. Her hair was blue and her top bright orange.

"Hi, you must be Luke," To Luke's surprise, she hugged him, and right after him, she hugged Lucas as well.

"I heard a lot about you two, the girls have been texting me all the time."

"Only truths, I hope." Luke looked at the twins who were too busy looking at their gifts.

"Where's Mikey?" She asked his mother who finally got her hug.

"Oh sweety, didn't you text him? He's in town, he has classes all day today."

Ashley sighed, "I wanted to surprise him for his birthday."

"It's his birthday?" Luke asked.

"It's the day after tomorrow but I have a concert then."

"Ashley's a very talented singer," Karen explained.

"Stop it." She smiled. "Can you get me his schedule? I really want to see him but I need to be back on the road today."

"I can get it," Luke volunteered. He knew where Michael had it pinned.

"Do you want to come along?" She asked. "I'd love some company and Michael can drive you back once he's done with classes."
