When Luke made it to Clifford's home, the driveway was full of cars he didn't recognize.

Michael had texted him that he'd come later, as he had a meeting with the devil herself. His manager Kaya.

Luke wasn't religious but he prayed he wouldn't come in contact with her.

Michael's mum opened the door for him, her hair in hot rollers, her face dusted in white powder.

Karen hugged him tightly but was careful not to get her "baking powder" on him.

"Come, you'll love the makeup boys."

The makeup boys turned out to be very good-looking brothers, one was trying to convince Daryl to wear some powder, and the other immediately rushed over to Luke and started touching his hair.

"Stunning," he said, making Luke blush.

Tim and Troye were on a mission to make Michael's parents and Luke look presentable before Michael's arrival. Then their main concern would be the Aria award presenter, Michael Clifford.

"Luke looks amazing with silver eyeshadow," Karen told Troye. What she didn't tell him is that he wore silver eyeshadow on his wedding day.

"Really?" He smiled at Luke, making him blush even more. "What color is your outfit?"

"I don't know," Luke mumbled.

It was the truth. All he got was a text from Michael to appear at a high-end clothing store whose name he couldn't pronounce. There they took his measurements, held different colors of fabric against his face, and made him a suit.

Luke didn't want a new suit since he'll be far away from the cameras, but Michael insisted. He wanted to buy something he already owned but his only nice suit was his wedding suit, which he also wore to the prom every year.

"Oh, you didn't see the suit?" Karen smiled. "It's light blue, just like his eyes."

Luke frowned. He thought it'd be black or grey, nothing too eye-catching.

"Can I do some light eye makeup?" Troye asked as Tim started to work on his curls.

Luke nodded.

About thirty minutes passed and somehow, his curls, which were already naturally curly were only halfway done. And somehow, the light makeup also included gems being glued on his face.

When the Clifford's dog started barking, Luke knew Michael arrived.

Luckily, he was alone, with no devil around.

"Hi, baby." Karen kissed his cheek. "How was it?"

Michael glanced over the room, noticed the glam team, the photographer, and only shrugged his shoulders. "We'll talk later."

His gaze then returned to Luke.

"We'll be done in a minute, Mr. Clifford," Tim said.

"It's fine, I'll go and take a shower." He smiled at Luke. "And please call me Michael."

"He looks even better in person than he does on film," Troye said to his brother but Luke just smiled.
