Luke never woke up feeling like this.
Satisfied.
Like he was craving Michael and the last night made him full.
And as lovely as it was, magical even, sleeping in Michael's arms, Luke felt arising panic in his chest.
When he woke up, Michael was gone and Luke was ready to roll his eyes, call him, and tell him to stop running. Then he notices Michael's note.
Your stomach was growling in your sleep. Went to get breakfast. Xxx
Luke smiled. Maybe he wasn't full after all.
There was a cup of coffee on the table and he sipped it while thing about his emotions as he sat on the couch, waiting for the alpha.
Luke knew he liked Michael as a human being, he also knew he was attracted to him. And as much as he believed he didn't like him just because he was an alpha, Luke knew there was a part of him that wanted Michael as his alpha.
And that was confusing because Luke wasn't sure he wants to belong to someone. He didn't even take his time to research how his life would be affected if he decided to be a proper werewolf. One that can turn into a wolf.
The kids all told him it was the best part but most of them didn't have to make the choice. They were born wolves and Luke wasn't.
All his worries seem to disappear the moment he could sense Michael was near. Also, he could smell the food and he really was hungry.
Michael walked into the apartment with the biggest smile on his face and Luke immediately felt the urge to kiss him. He didn't have to wait long, because the alpha walked to him and kissed him.
Luke realized Michael shower before stepping out. "I'm sorry if I smell." He whispered against Michael's lips.
Michael growled so quietly, Luke couldn't hear him if they weren't touching. "Don't, you smell like me."
Luke laughed. "I smell like your cum."
The grin on alpha's face made him laugh. Michael sat next to him and Luke instinctively moved closer.
"I have a class in thirty minutes, you can come with me if you want to, then we'll head home. Is that okay with you?"
He leaned his head on Michael's shoulder and nodded.
"Okay, if you are coming with me, you should shower. I think normal people could smell you from a distance."
This time, Luke growled.

On their ride home, Luke asked Michael as many wolf questions as he could think of.
How old was he when he knew he was different? Three, when he could smell the blood on the scratched knees of the kids, he was playing with.
What would happen to his family's estate if he wasn't an alpha? It would still be his. Omegas aren't more important than alphas.
