Luke woke up slowly. He stretched his arms out but hit someone.

"Ouch," Michael mumbled and laughed when Luke opened his eyes. He was confused for a moment before he realized where he was.

"Sorry," He yawned.

He and Michael were no longer as close as they were when they fell asleep and Luke was no longer tired.

Michael was wide awake, a laptop on his lap, coffee cup on his bedside table.

"What's the time?" He asked. "You should have woke me up if you needed to work."

"Stop," Michael said gently. "Stop worrying. It's just after ten, I called Ashton just in case you had any classes today, I called your mum."

Luke's sleepy brain slowly processed the information, he knew he didn't have work today, at least not teaching. He did have to go to the club in the evening but that seemed like days away.

"Mum? You called my mum? Liz?"

Michael nodded. "She'll be here soon."

"Why?"

The older of the two sighed. "Luke, what you told me yesterday... That's serious. And I know your mum knows all about your relationship, so I thought it'd be easier for us to talk it through together."

"Talk about what?"

"What we should do."

Luke climbed out of the bed. "Michael, I know you mean good but. What if I'm just paranoid? It might not even be him."

"I don't care," Michael said. "You being paranoid is a reason enough for us to get to the bottom of this."

He knew arguing with Michael was pointless. If his mum was really coming Luke didn't want her to see him in Michael's bed so he went and showered.

When he returned downstairs, his mum was in the kitchen and she brought breakfast.

"Baby," Liz immediately crossed the room to hug him. "Why?" She grabbed his face. "Why wouldn't you tell me that horrible man is in Australia?"

"Mum," Luke whined. He was almost twenty-eight and his mother was treating him like he was five. "I'm not sure he is."

They sat down behind the counter and Michael spoke up.

"I talked to Calum's sister. She's a detective and she told me your restraining order is valid in Australia as well. But if the threat of him breaking it is possible, it could be helpful to get a copy for Sidney police."

Luke stopped chewing. "I can call Spencer and ask him for help with that. He went with me to get it

"Honey," Liz said. "When you thought you saw him, Ricardo I meant, where was it?"
