13 - want you back ✦

I still dream for you.

No matter where I go. I'm always gonna want you back.

✦✦✦

Michael was the first to wake up.

Luke was snoring next to him but no longer pressed against his chest like he was when they fall asleep.

Nothing changed, he thought.

He smiled and looked over his old bedroom.

Michael remembered waking up next to Luke when they were fourteen. He'd spend hours observing the boy he was in love with, not knowing Luke felt the same.

He remembered being sixteen, knowing Luke loved him back and waiting patiently for him to wake up so they could kiss.

Sometimes he wasn't that patient and he woke him up with kisses.

The room didn't change much but they did.

Michael thought about finding the old photos of him and Luke and hanging them in their old spot but Luke suggested they replace them with new photos. New memories.

"Staring," Luke mumbled without opening his eyes.

"You're dreaming," Michael smiled, biting down a laugh.

Slowly, Luke opened his eyes.

He yawned and stretched and Michael just observed him with a smile on his face.

"What are you thinking about?" Michael asked making Luke laugh.

"Yesterday," He laughed again, not able to finish the sentence with a straight face. "When we were. You know."

"Fucking?"

Luke rolled his eyes. "Making love." He corrected him. "I had this déjà vu of us having sex when we were, I don't know, seventeen? I was so afraid your parents will catch us."

Michael laughed. "They're not even home."

"I know," Luke giggled. "Still."

"They're not home," Michael whispered again and turned to Luke to kiss him.

Their bodies immediately responded to the want their minds had created.

Michael's hand was in Luke's boxers, Luke was kissing him hard.

The doorbell rang and Luke moved away from his boyfriend immediately.

Michael laughed. Luke pushed him off the bed.

"Jerk."

The older man was still laughing when he went downstairs to see who it was.

"Find something to wear, we promised your mum we'll make it to breakfast."

Luke peaked through the curtain and to his relief it wasn't Michael's parents but the postman.

He was aware that they knew they were... touching each other but he didn't want to do it while they were under the same roof.
