Luke was slowly sipping his warm beer, trying to keep up with whatever the man, Ethan, or maybe Evan, was talking about.

He was attractive but boring, however, Calum had already left him alone just a few minutes into the party. Besides his best friend was the only person he knew in the fraternity house. Luke's university was a few hours away.

It was the fifth time the guy has complimented his pants and Luke realized he was overdressed for the occasion. Again, Calum's fault not his. Instead of listening to Elijah talk, Luke went over the pros and cons of hooking up with the guy.

The pros were his muscles and full lips and the cons the words coming from his mouth, his haircut, and his sense of style.

What Luke did notice was how Edward moved his head in the rhythm of the music. Good taste? That would count for five pros.

"Do you like this song?" It was the first question Luke had asked him.

Elliott's face lit up. "It good isn't it. I don't know the artist but Michael always plays good music."

The moment he heard the name, Luke's head moved into the direction of the DJ booth.

The man's hair wasn't red or green but blonde but it was unmistakably him.

Michael Clifford.

"Luke?" Ezra called after him but Luke had eyes set on one person.

He crossed the room in a matter of seconds and tapped the man on the shoulders.

"No song requests." The man shouted. When he turned towards him, however, he was just as speechless.

"What the fuck?" Michael took a good look at his estranged friend. "Luke fucking Hemmings." He then laughed and pulled Luke in a hug.

"Fuck," Michael shouted into his ear. "What are you doing here? When did you grow so much?"

Luke hoped his smile was half as big as Michael's.

"Came to visit Calum and the fam."

The two hadn't seen each other since Luke left for university, at least not in person. They tried to keep up over the phone and face times but it wasn't the same. The way they parted ways, the ways they wanted to live their lives were just too different.

But all seemed to be forgotten when they were reunited.

"Why didn't Calum tell me you were coming?"

Luke shrugged his shoulders, "We weren't supposed to be here. That's why I'm overdressed, we were going to a concert but someone didn't buy tickets as he promised and the show is sold out."

Michael scanned the room. "Let's get out of here," And Luke almost wanted to scream yes.

He wanted to leave the party but mostly he wanted to talk with Michael. "But you're in charge of the music."

"My set is only about an hour before someone else will take over." Michael didn't seem too concern. "Come on."

Luke didn't know where they were going but he was ready to follow Michael anywhere at that moment.
