(This will be a split POV so, Tsukki's short POV will be written by the end of this chapter! :D)

Yamaguchi

If I wasn't mistaken, Tsukki was trying to get something out of the vending machine.

His face groused in irritation and with a pinched expression, "Fuck!" Tsukki yelled, giving the glass another blow, as he finally had given up when he took notice of our presence.

Tsukki was rubbing his brow as if to ward off a headache before he meets my eye, he stood there, silent.

Yachi-san's face lits up as she acknowledged Tsukki's presence, "Tsukishima-san!" She called, waving her other hand as her left still holding mine.

My fingers that were intertwined with Yachi-san's loosened up a bit when Tsukki's cold and staggering stare gave me the anxiety I didn't need. The sudden urge of wanting to let Yachi-san's hand go hits me.

Tsukki's light on his eyes slowly fades, as he stared through the depths of my eyes, studying me with a predator's unwavering attention, his eyes trailed down to our laced fingers and his face immediately dropped.

We stood there for almost a few seconds, unable to start a conversation due to the awkward tension. Did Tsukki tried getting something from the vending machine? That's new.

Tsukki's eyes never left mine, before his lips curling into smug smirk, "What is that funny smell?" His smug face turning into a mocking grin, "Must be love in the air, huh?" He said in a snarky, sarcastic tone.

Not to sound assuming, but his sarcastic remark sounded a bit off. As if he didn't even mean it. I couldn't explain but it was oddly . . . gloomy?

I frowned and rolled my eyes, "Very funny, Tsukishima Kei,"

Yachi-san blinked a few times before speaking as she observed Tsukki and then her eyes landing on the vending machine, "I thought you already went home, Tsukishima-san?"

Tsukki's face twists in annoyance, "Damn right," He sighed before looking back at the vending machine, "But this shitty vending machine wouldn't give me a chance,"

I raised my eyebrow at him, "What do you mean? You never get anything from the vending machine?" I asked, with pure curiousity and confusion.

"What? Yes, I do," He protests, his voice growing agitated as if he was surprised that he actually does not get anything from the vending machine. Which is true.

"No, you don't. That was once and I paid for it," I argued back, feeling a bit giddy.

"Wow, now you're throwing it on my face when I didn't even ask you to pay for it,"

Yachi-san's stare bounced back to Tsukki and I as we both continued to argue, from my peripheral vision, Yachi-san seemed a bit confused as we bickered like children fighting over some petty reason.

The argument wasn't even that serious, although I could feel Tsukki's voice thick with emotions as if he still wanted to keep the argument going even though it did not made sense at all.

To be honest, it excites me to actually talk to him even though we were just arguing because the entire day, he did not even spare an energy to speak to me.

The sudden turn of events of seeing Tsukki in front of a vending machine had the excitement comes to my spark-plugs roaring my engines into the purr of anticipation.

I was a bit glad he's actually trying something new other than being an egocentric asshole that he is.

Tsukki heaved a sigh as he finally had given up the argument, "Just help me get this thing off . . ." He started to bang the glass more, "It's fucking stuck,"
