Words left Yamaguchi.

The green haired boy stared into those bright brown eyes of Tsukishima burning with anger, he had eyes that were softly woven with a chorus of brown threads.

Yamaguchi's heart fell silent. "Answer me!" Tsukishima roared.

But Yamaguchi couldn't will his lips to move.

As if stuck underwater, everything was slow and warbled as the green haired boy with vibrant orchid eyes made his feather dusting of freckles pop against his fair skin.

Tsukishima pointed a shaky finger at Yamaguchi's face,"Do you have nothing to say? I have poured my heart out to you, now tell me what you're thinking!" he demanded, his brown eyes brimming with hot tears.

But the freckled boy's mind was blank, his eyes wide as he stared at Tsukishima in horror. Tsukishima's eyes desperately searched the depths of the greenlet's eyes . . . waiting.

He had to say something.

Yamaguchi searched his mind for something reasonable to say, but to his surprise his heart answered for him.

"I love you, Kei."
