Capítulo VI- Los Dingos Contra Los Perros Alfas
Patience held her distance from Spike. To be honest the alter-personality scared her. One little remark could set Spike off. She only had two classes with Chase, one in the morning and one in the afternoon and he had to sit next to her to try to contain the aggressive personality. She wanted Chase back, someone she could talk to during class about their notes or freely talk to after they finish their work.
All she heard in her left ear was someone making menacing comments and complaining about schoolwork. Patience couldn't finish her classwork bringing an ounce of annoyance to her. She liked to finish her work in class so she could have more free time after school. She exited her classroom with Bree and the rest of the Davenport siblings and Leo slowly met up one by one on their way to lunch.
A crowd of students crammed the entrance to the school. Their heads turned to the group of friends sauntering through the doors. Surprisingly, they gave the friends smiles rather than cowering away. Then again, it could be the fear of Spike forcing a smile on their faces.
"All right, make room for the alpha dogs!" Leo announced, fist-bumping a student. The crowd parted in half to let the group of friends pass through. "Woof! Woof! Woof! Woof!" Leo barked, pumping his fist in the air
Adam put a hand on his shoulder and he looked up at him. "Don't do that."
"Yeah, you almost look as odd as Spike poking his chest out," Patience pointed at him.
"What was that, princess," Spike glared.
Patience awkwardly smiled at the angered personality. Her voice was unsteady as she said, "Nothing. There's nothing wrong with the way you walk." She put a hand over her heart, "Everyone loves a confident man."
Bree halted and glanced around, "Wait, if we're the alpha dogs, then..." She hopped on one foot, purposely dropping her books. Two of her classmates immediately rushed over and picked up her books. "Oh, I love this!"
Someone else handed Spike a slip of paper strolling by him. He glimpsed at the paper, asking, "What's this?"
Patience and Leo peeked over Bree's shoulder. "That's an all-access hall pass. You can go anywhere you want with that," Leo beamed.
"I can go anywhere I want already," Spike said confidently, strutting. "These are my hall passes." He flexed his muscles no one was able to see because of his long sleeve under his short sleeve.
"Okay, if he starts oiling up, I'm out," Leo truthfully said. Spike ignored him and kissed his individual bicep.
"I agree," Patience pursed her lips. "Guys, don't you think we're taking too much advantage of this? I guess he kind of stood up to Trent but that doesn't mean we have to get people to do stuff for us."
