Capitulo XVI- La razón por que la película de Jurassic Park existe
Patience's head lay on Bree's shoulder as the third movie to their marathon played. Patience estimated that it was four in the afternoon as they watched Eclipse. They took a break between the second and third movie after their bottoms fell asleep toward the end of New Moon. During their hour break, she took out the yoga mat for stretches.
Patience wasn't used to sitting around for so long. So when her ankle popped rising from the couch, she wasted no time in doing her daily stretches. A sense of relief came across her when they finished. They returned to their spots back on the couch to continue to the next.
As they were a little halfway into the film, Adam stepped into the room, his flip-flops nearly matching the volume of the movie. Bree avoided giving him a side-eye. "Hey, Leo, I have a question," he stated.
He turned back, asking, "What's up?"
"Is this annoying?" He blared a horn.
Patience jumped in her seat, her eyes widened as a sound wave rippled from her arm. She redirected it above Adam. White dush scattered on top of him and an indent was engraved on the ceiling. The movie played through their silence as they exchanged looks, a faint echo in her ears.
She gasped as her hands went straight over her mouth. Adam's eyebrows furrowed, pointing an accusing finger, "You just shot at me!"
She held her hand out, rapidly expressing, "I'm so, so, sorry, I don't know what happened."
"You glitched!" The back of Bree's hands grazed Patience's shoulder, "It must've scared you so bad you glitched."
Adam accusingly jabbed his finger, "Hey, you shot at me!"
"Please," Bree scoffed. "Patience would never actually shoot at you."
"Maybe that's what she wants you to think." He pointed to fingers at his eyes and back to Patience, who sent him a confused look on the couch, "I'm watching you." Patience thought about explaining but she gave up turning back to her movie. "Leo, you never answered my question. Is it annoying?"
Bree narrowed her eyes at him. "Yes, it's annoying."
"Well, I'll tell you what's annoying. People who interrupt conversations. Leo." Adam raised the horn once again and pressed its button. His mouth widened as the deafening sound blared.
Leo's eyebrows knitted as he stared into the corner of the room in thought. He pointed a finger, saying, "Let me hear it one more time." The horn blares again. He nodded, blinking, "Yeah, that's annoying."
"Then we might have a problem, 'cause this thing, it's like candy to my ears." He tossed his head back as he enjoyed the muse flowing into his ears.
