Capítulo VII- Lilas
Xue had been stuck to Bree and Patience's hips since the first day of the bionic academy. She did have acquaintances for each class she had but she wouldn't call them friends. They often found her aggressive, ill-timed, and rude. She would agree that she was aggressive and I'll-timed with her comments but not rude. She simply told what was on her mind, the truth. She thought it was something people couldn't handle. Bree and Patience understood that. However, Patience did think she should be a little kinder with her words than harsh. And Bree didn't seem to care and found it funny. But in all, they were glad to be stuck hip to hip. It was nice having another girl around other than boys.
The three girls were in the mentors' headquarters showing Xue the outside world's beauty products. On the table, were nail polish, makeup, different scented lotions, And face masks. They had cooling and hydrating cucumber face masks stuck to their skin. The summer heat was starting to heat up the academy and they felt at ease with it as they relaxed on the couch with matching animal robes. Bree had a panda robe, Patience had bunny robe, and Xue had a tiger robe.
Xue tightened up the robe around her, "As ugly as these things look, they're so soft."
"We told you and they aren't ugly. They're cute!" Bree said.
Patience replied, "Next time we'll take you shopping for your taste."
"I can't leave the island."
"It won't hurt sneaking you out," Bree stated.
Xue teased, "You sure you won't leave me behind?"
"It was one time and in my defense, Adam counted. I didn't think he'd count 18 instead of 20 and not tell us. And he didn't even tell us about Patience looking for Bob's Pokémon."
"I can't believe you forgot us," Patience crossed her arms. She leaned on the couch rest, stretching out her legs.
"I can't believe your boyfriend forgot you. You're better than me 'cause I would've never let that go," Xue admitted. She laughed, "He isn't even my boyfriend and I'm never letting it go."
"I haven't let it go. It was very irresponsible. I was mad but I got over it after a while. I'm still upset so don't think he's not off the hook."
Bree laughed, lightly touching Xue on her shoulder, "We can tell. You've been kicking his butt during spar sessions."
Xue joined her fit of laughter., "Remember when she flipped him on his back? It's so entertaining watching you be petty. It's like a baby saying their first word."
"Hey, I wasn't being petty. I was showing you guys how to use someone's momentum against them. I was just being a little harsher than I should've."
