Capítulo XXIX- Pequeña Perry
Bree, Chase, and Patience strolled down the school halls. The three bumped into each other on the way to their next period. However, their conversation was disturbed by Principal Perry, "Hey! Three little pigs. My niece is visiting from, um, wherever she lives, and I'm gonna assign you three to be chaperones for a couple of days."\
Patience shrugged, "Okay."
"Slow down, Pat," Bree put a hand on Patience's shoulder.
"Oh, uh, well, see, I can't," Chase fixed his satchel.
"We are so sorry."
"'Cause I gotta be-"
"Oh, that's so cute. You think you have a choice," Perry laughed.
"But why would you need us to show her around? You can't stand us," Bree reasoned.
Perry placed her hands over her heart, "Oh, you've noticed. Look, my niece's sweet and innocent and if she hangs around the cool kids, they'll corrupt her. That's why she's hanging with you. If it's unclear, let me spell it out, you're not cool."
Patience pursed her lips, nodding her head. "Hi! Aunt Terry!" a squeaky voice perked. Patience turned around, a girl with medium-length hair and bangs and glasses smiled at her aunt.
Smiling, Perry greeted her, "Kerry, darling. This is Patience and uh, give me a second." Perry pointed at Chase and Bree, "Kevin? Susan?" The only reason Perry remembered Patience's name was because of the nickname given to her since freshman year.
Bree corrected her, "Bree and Chase."
"No one really cares," Principal Perry giggled.
"Nice to meet you. I'm Kerry Perry," she shook Bree, Chase, and Patience's hands. "Thanks for showing me around. I hope it's not too much of a bother."
Bree deadpanned, "No, no. We are happy to be forced to help."
"Great. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm headed to the chem lab to sear off a wart," Perry shoved her hand in front of the teen's faces. They grimaced.
"Bye, Aunt Terry!" Kerry waved at her aunt.
Patience widely smiled, putting a hand on Kerry's shoulder, "So, where would you like to go?"
"Get your lanky paws off me," Kerry snapped. Patience jumped back, nervously laughing. "Here's the deal, ladies. I'm skipping school and hitting the mall. And when I get there, I'm gonna plant a dead fly in my burrito and eat for free."
Chase said, "Sorry, but as your chaperone-"
"Shut it, squat-mug! Little elves called," Kerry looked Chase up and down, "They want you back at the tree to make cookies."
