Capítulo XXVII- Dificultades Técnicas
The soft bristles of the brush grazed Patience's eyelid. Some glitter drizzled onto her cheekbones, but that could be easily removed or concealed. An already dolled up by Patience, Bree dipped the brush into the pallet for the other eye. They already had their dresses and hair done. A cloth draped over Patience to protect her purple dress.
The two girls were excited about the dance. They hadn't been to one since homecoming last year. Well technically they went, Bree decorated the dance and Patience accidentally destroyed it with Adam, Chase, and Leo. It was also nice because things have calmed down since.
"I don't think we've had a normal night since we filmed Leo's sci-fi film," Patience realized. She shut her eyes and stood still as possible while Bree drew her eyeliner. The liquid liner glid on her eyes to a sharp wing.
"Really?" Bree furrowed her eyebrows, grabbing the mascara. "That was months ago."
Patience looked up to the bathroom ceiling as Bree applied the mascara on her lashes. "Time goes fast, especially went you're being targeted by a madman. It's the most terrifying thing I've ever experienced."
Bree set down the container and picked up another brush. Her face softened, "I'm sorry about that. We wish we could have been there to protect you and Leo-"
"And Douglas."
"And Douglas."
"It's not your fault, you were detained by the jerk of an agent who must not be named," Patience grimaced. Bree smiled. "But we got something out of it, I mean Leo and I are bionic and we can help people even more."
"I know what you mean. It sucks staying in the lab. When I broke my chip and Adam and Chase went on that mission, I hated that I couldn't do anything. Thankfully, Mr. Davenport and Douglas were able to fix it. Even though my heart nearly exploded," Bree sarcastically added.
"Why are we always close to death?" Patience questioned. "How am I still allowed to come over and hang out with you guys?"
"I don't know," Bree shrugged. "But we're still the best of best friends and Krane is locked up with S-1, so that's all that matters." She finished patting powder on Patience's face.
"Yeah, that is true, we're practically sisters now," Patience pursed her lips, nodding.
Bree's smile grew, it was more than great to have another girl around. She wasn't surrounded by boys all the time and Patience could say the same. As much as they loved them, it was nice to have a break and be with another girl.
Bree popped open a lipstick that was close to Patience's natural lip color. The black cherry tone enhanced her natural lip color. She smacked her lips and popped them. "There, all done," Bree stated.
