Capítulo VI- El Cohete
Chase swung the front door open. Adam, Bree, and Patience followed behind him entering the Davenport-Dooley mansion. "Man, I'm exhausted," Chase threw his backpack on the floor. "Perry's been nagging me all day about going on a mission. 'Ooh, gimme, gimme, gimme, gimme, gimme, gimme.'"
"What's up, mission buds?" Perry asked coming in through the hall. She clung to her backpack over one shoulder and the other hand was hidden behind her back.
Their eyebrows furrowed at the unwelcomed older woman. Bree set her hands on her hips, "What are you doing here? How did you get in our house?"
"I used the doggie door."
Chase eyed Perry, "We don't have a doggy door."
She revealed her hidden hand, holding up a saw, "You do now," Perry laughed. She set her things on the singular couch cushion beside her. "So, when are we going on our mission?"
"Principal Perry," Patience stepped forward, "Missions don't happen every day. They just come whenever."
"That's cool. I'll wait."
Bree shot at Perry, "You can't stay here."
"Au contraire, Cinderfrella. I can do whatever I want. And if that means waiting here for six months until a mission comes up, so be it?" Principal Perry took the remote from the glass coffee table and made herself comfortable on the couch. "Delete all recordings? Yes!" The four teens gasped. "Might as well get comfortable. You kids wanna help me with a perm?"
Adam agreed, "Sure!"
"No!" Bree sternly said. Perry rose from her spot and traveled to the kitchen with her small bag. "This ends now," she faced Adam, Chase, and Patience.
Patience crossed her arms, "What are we gonna do? You can't take Principal Perry on a mission. Leo and I can't even go on missions."
"Then let's take her on a fake one. We'll blindfold her, say we're at some remote site, and just take her down to the lab and Patience could stay up here and 'guide the mission'."
Patience's eyes widened, "What? We can't do that."
"No. No!" Chase quietly refused. "You know Mr. Davenport's rules. No outsiders in the lab ever."
Perry stuck her head out the sink, water ran down her face, and with her eyes shut she asked, "Who wants to help me with my hard-to-reach spots?"
Bree crossed her arms sending Chase and Patience a look. They glanced at each other and then at Bree both saying, "We're in."
