When I woke up, I had no idea where I was or what was going on. Everything around me seemed to be something I had never seen before, and there was no person in sight. Not to mention that I was pretty disoriented from the battle, the capture, and the rescue.

Then it all came back to me.

I'm in the Black Lion.

I carefully got out of the bed someone had provided me with, though I didn't get much further than the floor because my legs gave out. I took a deep breath, stood again, and limped toward the cockpit.

The door slid open just as I heard Keith speak, and my heart fluttered at the sound of his voice. I had missed him beyond belief.

"What? Say again?" he said as the doors slid silently closed behind me. I didn't move. I could tell that something serious was going on, and I didn't want to interrupt it.

"Stop," someone said, and I recognised the voice immediately as Commander Sam Holt. He had been one of my favourite Commanders at the Garrison. If it weren't for his tone of voice, and the voice of each Paladin as they spoke, I wouldn't have been worried.

"Sendak has invaded the planet," Sam said. "He's taken over earth. If he finds out that Voltron is here, he'll threaten the people of earth in exchange for the Lions."

There was a moment of tense silence. And then Keith, the decisive head and leader of Voltron made a decision, a decision that was a product of his maturity and how much he'd gone through during his time in space. I had a feeling that the Keith I had trained years ago was gone, replaced by a person who was tired of war, but oh so terribly good at fighting.

"Reverse thrusters!" He exclaimed with authority.

And the rest of the team was quick to obey.

"Copy that," Hunk said. "Hold tight!"

Voltron came to a speeding stop, and as I wasn't secured by any seat, I fell to the floor again.

I wasn't noticed as alarms began to blare and a Galra patrol appeared in front of us.

"Paladins, we blocked the patrol's transmission. You're clear," Sam said.

"Roger that. Let's take 'em out!" Lance exclaimed.

In a matter of seconds, all the Glara scouting ships were taken out. All except one, which Pidge thought could be useful in getting us to earth since we couldn't fly the Lions to earth.

They grounded the Lions on a moon in Saturn's rings and began to board the Galra ship.

As Keith stood from his controls and turned around to head to the door of the cockpit, he finally noticed me sitting on the floor.

"Lillian," he breathed in shock.

In one swift motion, he scooped me up, and our lips were together for a brief moment.

"Why didn't you say anything?" He asked as he walked down the ramp of his Lion.

"You were busy," I whispered, my voice hoarse.

He looked at me softly. "You're always worth it."

Moments later, I was in the Galra ship's cockpit with Keith, and we were flying to earth, Keith, of course, piloting since I was in no condition to do so.

We flew through several Galra fleets as we made our way home, and it was eerie. I think we all felt like we stood out, even though our ship was one of theirs. The chances of us being caught were small, but not impossible.
