My ranking up ceremony consisted of a few nice words from Kolivan and the obtaining of a new uniform. I'd have to wear a uniform that matched Kolivan's, one that included an odd skirt thingy and weird shoulder coverings. I had never been one for the General's uniforms, but I had always dreamed of the day that I would rank up. That also meant that I would get another tattoo. This time, however, it would be a generic outline of the Blade of Marmora symbol with a G on the inside. A tattoo that would mark me as a General.

I refused to change into my uniform while we were still in the Castle of Lions. I did not want to draw anymore attention to myself. My fight with Keith and the nice gash on my face was enough. In fact, the wound would give me a lot of questions at the Blade base if I didn't keep it covered. However, since Voltron was still in a meeting, or, as I called it, a depression-session, I did not allow Kolivan to disturb them so we could leave.

When they finished, I paged them all to the departure bay where I said goodbye and gave Keith instructions on when his first briefing session and mission would be. He'd be reporting for duty the following week.

"Oh, and be prepared to get a tattoo," I said like he needed to know.

"Why?" He squinted at me.

"It marks what unit you're in." I held up my left wrist to show him my tattoo.

"What unit am I in?" He asked.

"Well, according to my calculations," Ella began, "You'll most likely end up with us, however, once I analyse the numbers back at base there is a thirteen point four percent chance you could end up in any other unit."

Keith didn't look like he understood.

"Basically, we don't know," Adrien said.

I nodded.

"I'll see you next week then, Delta," Keith said, backing up. He gave me a salute-wave. "Cap—I mean, General."

I grinned slightly and gave him a nod.

We boarded our ship, and Kolivan and Regris piloted it back to base.

I went straight to the Communications Center when we got back to the base. I filed a few logs about my time in the Castle of Lions, reflected on the mission we did to liberate planet Puig, and transferred Castle archives into the Blade databases. I had downloaded a lot of information about Altea, Voltron, and a bunch of other things while I was at the castle.

When I finished, Kolivan paged me to the Med Wing where he gave me clearance to get the General's tattoo. After that, he instructed that I change into the General's uniform.

"You have your first General's meeting in ten minutes. You must look the part," he said before walking off.

Well, that's clearly the end of the conversation.

I went to the locker rooms, showered quickly, and changed into my new suit. I went back to the Communications Center, walked to a door on the other side of the room that was for Captains, and walked down the hall until I met a door titled "General's Conference Room." I inserted my tattooed wrist into a slot by the door and entered the room when the door unlocked.

Kolivan sat at the head of the table, as always, Regris sat to his immediate left, and I took my place to his immediate right. The Head of Communications was there, as well as the Director of Training, Top Analyst, Head Engineer, and the Head Doctor. Not only was I now second-in-command to Kolivan, but I was also the Initiate Instructor, and I had been for a while. We made up the Board of Directors that headed the Blade of Marmora Organisation.
