Keith
It had been a trap. When I made it to the other side of the wormhole, I flew right into the middle of a fleet I assumed to be Lotor's, though anything was possible when it came to the Galra. There were way too many bloodthirsty and power hungry commanders.
I was gripped by fear, but I used that fear to play the situation smart.
Each cruiser began to fire at me, and one of Lotor's Sincline ships spotted me and began to attack. I led it on, then, when we went underneath a cruiser, I flipped the Black Lion and landed on the top of the attacking ship, using the jawblade to take it out.
After the minor delay, I went back to my search for Shiro. I located him inside the main ship, but the same ship that had attacked a few moments before had already gotten their bearings again and fired on me once more.
I tried to figure out how to get Shiro out of the main ship, but then I saw his pod flying into space, and all I had to do was follow.
"Shiro," I said out loud to myself.
I have to win him over.
"Shiro, come in," I said over our communications. "I know you're there!"
I tried for a softer tone. "I don't know what's wrong, but I know we can fix this. Let me help you."
The fleet began to depart by hyperjump, and I continued my pursuit of Shiro,
"I know you're hurting. We just need to keep it together a little longer," I said.
I continued to follow Shiro to an abandoned Galra installation. I hadn't even thought of the risks of following him, but I didn't care. I followed with my guard up.
After landing on the outpost, I walked through some caverns and tunnels that led to an elevator that took me deeper into the celestial body.
As I exited the elevator, I noticed a long room full of glass cases that gave me flashbacks of the supposed second colony. I really hoped they weren't bodies.
I recognised the space, and suddenly realised that this was the future I had had a flash of in the quantum abyss. The future I didn't believe could happen. Yet here I was.
That's scary.
That means....
No, snap out of it. Not here. I need to focus.
I walked through the long room that seemed to peak out into space. The cases were making me nervous, but I wanted to know what they were. I touched one at the end of the room, and it glowed beneath my hand. It was Shiro.
All of them.
Shiro.
No.
And he was also behind me.
"Hello, Keith," Shiro said in a deep voice that I knew wasn't his own.
I turned around to see him standing behind me.
His eyes are glowing oddly.
"Shiro, it's gonna be okay," I said softly, trying not to let the fear into my voice.
"Yes, I know," he said.
"We just have to get back to the Castle." I found myself repeating the lines from the vision.
This is just too weird.
I don't like this feeling.
I want to leave.
