Lillian
For a few weeks, things were pretty low and easy. The world produced a show about Voltron, one that was completely screwed and inaccurate, but I didn't care, and Acxa, one of Lotor's former generals, returned as well. She and Keith had shared a bit of a history.
Our main objective was preparing for our final launch into space, which was in the hopes that we'd eliminate all Galra rule from the universe. We wanted to free every civilisation under Galra oppression.
Keith had been tasked with making sure that if we left earth, it'd be able to defend itself. He checked in with each garrison facility around the globe to ensure their defences were up and running.
I got to know the new Blade members and picked up a new skill. I'd opted to start training with a gun, learning how to fire, aim, and whatnot. It was something I had never learned being that the Blade of Marmora only fought with daggers and swords rather than artillery. We liked being up close and personal. It was more intimidating.
I was in the training room a few days later talking with Acxa as we fired our guns at the targets. I sensed a presence behind me, but I didn't give it much thought. I was too busy being a badass.
Keith
She looked hot with her new weapon. Lillian had taken to carrying not only her dagger with her everywhere she went, but also a gun. Even when we'd gone out into the city for a date, she'd had both weapons tucked away in the folds of her dress.
I admired her. So much. And I was surprised at how far I'd come with my attraction to her.
You can stop staring.
I smirked. She knew everything.
"Nice weapon," I said.
She turned around, smirking too. "Thanks, Kogane. I'd ask if you wanted to go, but you're in bad shape."
I walked up behind her, setting my hands on her waist.
"That's not how you do it," I whispered in her ear.
"Then how do you do it?" She whispered back, her voice laced with what was probably supposed to be intimidation.
I couldn't forget about all her other super-human abilities, especially the fact that she could mind-control her blade.
I gently took her hands in mine as I aimed the gun to show her how to hold it more properly.
"Arms length, sweetheart, and you have to be able to see out the scope," I said.
She was silent.
"I see," she whispered. "That's a hack I needed to learn yesterday."
I stepped away from her. "That's why I'm here."
"Indeed," she said, holstering her gun and turning around to kiss me.
After I was done flirting with her, I went to see Josh. As one of Lillian's closest friends, he was someone I needed an opinion from. About Lillian.
I found him in the training arena with the other MFE pilots.
"Josh!" I called.
He came jogging over to me.
"Yeah?" He asked.
"I need to ask you something," I said.
"Shoot," he said, taking a sip of water and wiping his sweaty brow.
