Who Is The Flash?

    I walked out of Ms. Grant's office. I put my ring on my finger just in case and went to Noonan's. I was inside when I saw that there was a fire in a nearby building. I changed into my suit and ran there. I knew I couldn't get everyone out running up the stairs so I remembered my virtual tutor for my powers. I can run up walls but I need to keep running on the way down. I ran up the wall and got everyone out. Luckily there was no one above the floor they were on. I went back up and rotated my arms to create a vacuum that would suck all the oxygen out and the fire out. I was back down when I heard a scream. I looked up to the building and saw a window washer who was about to fall. the cords had been damaged by the fire. I ran up and saved him making sure he was okay and then I sped off to change and get Ms. Grant's coffee. I sped back and brought it to her. "Sorry Ms. Grant the line was a bit long" I said and she said "Thank you Jason," she sniffed the air and then said "you smell like smoke" "Yeah, sorry, there was a smoker behind me in line" I lied. one thing I learned from being a detective was quick thinking and quick lies. I walked back to my desk and Kara thanked me for covering Ms. Grant while she was gone. Winn and James were back too. 

    Eventually work ended and me and Winn went to the mall. I wanted to get a few funko pops for my desk and I also got a gaming keyboard and mouse with a giant mouse pad to go under. I made sure that the leds on my keyboard could do a plain color. After getting a few other things I went home and Kara was there. Watching the news. On it was a picture of me on the news in my supersuit. I had my mask on but there were a few shots of me running up the building and helping those people 
"Who's that on the news?"
"A new hero apparently"
"What something wrong"
"No, I'm just wondering if he knows supergirl. Or how he got his powers."
"All good questions"
"What do you think about him"
"I like him, I think he's gonna make a name for himself. Maybe he'll even start working with Supergirl, I mean it's obvious he's a hero. He ran people out of that building."
"Yeah, hope so"
"So what all did you and Winn get for your desk?"
"I got some funko pops and just some other nerd stuff."
"Ooh the lightsaber is cool"
"I also got a keyboard and mouse, I didn't like the ones they had."
"That's cool. I saw you covered for me while I was away. Thank you."
"Your welcome"
"You smell like smoke"
"Yeah I know, there was a smoker on the bus ride home. I'm gonna go shower."
"Okay"

Kara Pov

    What I didn't tell Jason Is that Winn actually had a lead on an alien we'd been chasing. I kept watching the news while Jason was in the shower. I wanted to know who this new hero was. I was actually kind of scared he'd take the spotlight from Supergirl. 

    A few minutes later Jason came out of the shower and he went to change into his casual clothes. He kept on his jeans and shoes but put on a different shirt. There was a knock at the door and Jason went to go get it. It was his mattress. He took it to his room and let it decompress. "It'll take 48 hours to decompress so I'm on the couch for two more nights" He said "Okay" I said while still watching the news. Alex called me and I went to go talk to her at the DEO.

    I landed in their building and went to talk to Alex

"Do you know who he is?"
"No Alex"
"Do you think the new guy is here to help?"
"He did save a burning building full of people"
"How do you think he got his powers?"
"Alex I don't know. I don't know anything about him except that he's male, wears red and runs faster than the speed of sound"
"Ok, jeez, if you meet him in the field bring him back here"
"Ok"

    I flew out of the DEO and back home. This night went pretty much the same but as I was flying I saw Jason walking down the street, he was about to get hit in the back by a car. I swooped down and picked him up, I brought him to a rooftop and set him down
"You should really watch where you're going"
"Supergirl!"
"Thats me"
"Thank you for saving me"
"No problem, but you should watch where your walking okay"
"Okay, can you set me on the street though"
"Of course"

Jason Pov

    I was set down by Supergirl and I went to go get food. I needed to eat a lot. I ate some there and brought a normal size meal back for me and one for Kara. I burst into the apartment ready to tell Kara about my encounter. I was excited about seeing supergirl

"I saw Supergirl!"
"You did, that's so cool"
"Yeah, she saved me from getting hit by a car."
"You almost got hit by a car!?"
"Yeah, it was a blindside though"
"Jason"
"I'm fine"
"Thank God Supergirl was there"
"Yeah"

What I didn't tell Kara is I knew she was Supergirl. The blonde hair, similar figure, smile, eyes and voice led me to believe she was Supergirl. Not to mention the scar she had near her left eyebrow was Identical to Supergirl's. Me and Kara ate and cuddled on the couch while we watched Riverdale.

    Work was the same for the whole week. Kara disappears, supergirl showing up. Kara disappearing, me covering for her with Ms. Grant. Me disappearing to be the Flash. On wednesday I was out being the Flash. I stopped a bank robbery and I had to talk to the Catco news channel there.
"Who are you?"
"Someone here to help"
"Do you work with Supergirl?"
"No, I haven't met her yet"
"How did you get your powers?"
"I was visiting Central City to see the particle accelerator turn on. I was given my powers when it exploded"
"The particle accelerator exploded nine months ago, where have you been all that time?"
"I've been working on my powers. I couldn't risk going into the field a liability"
"What can we call you?"
"You can call me 'The Flash' "

    I sped off and went home. I was sweating from running around the city all day, making me sweaty. I changed out of my suit and put it in my backpack. I opened the door and Kara was there watching the news. She had grown an obsession with The Flash, and I still had a huge crush on her. 
"The new hero actually talked to the news?"
"Yeah, i'm surprised"
"I'm not, he probably wanted to make himself known, make people know he wasn't there to cause trouble"
"Maybe"
"Do you think Supergirl's jealous? I was doing some research on their popularity in their first week of helping. The Flash seems to be getting more attention"
"That can't be true"
"I can show you the data"

    Kara saw me and saw that I was sweaty

"Why are you all sweaty?"
"I've been running, just got back from one"
"Huh"
"I'm gonna go shower"

    I came up with that quick lie and then I walked off to shower and I'm pretty sure Kara was jealous. I don't know why but I'm kinda glad she was. A few minutes later I got out of the shower and changed. I spent the night watching TV with Kara… again. I was glad we were so close. I really liked her, as more than a friend. I had been spending these last few nights getting over Olivia. And I was. I was sitting with my arm around Kara when I looked over at her. I could get lost in her beautiful eyes, her sweet scent was intoxicating. I looked at her full lips and all I wanted to do was kiss them. Kara looked over and saw me staring. She smiled and I quickly turned back towards the TV. I couldn't help but blush, no matter how embarrassing. 

    I was watching intently, trying not to look at her when I felt her lips against my cheek. It surprised me, but I was glad It happened. she pulled away and I looked over at her giving a smile. We watched Riverdale a bit more and Kara talked to me
